^ I was out bud ^.^ just got in. Have a good night touch arcade! Enjoy playing souls. I hope to see some nice early impressions when I awake.
There's no denying the first few of us have gotten it easy compared to what's in store for future players, so you persuading those of us who have already completed their challenges to play along with others is just as epic as this content was in the first place. There's something really special going on in this thread and us all encouraging each other do well is pretty much a first on TA. Instead of this whole thing being just a matter of making it progressively harder to earn a code, I honestly think you're bringing us together. Kudos. I wouldn't really say Mage Gauntlet helped me, but being familiar with rogue-likes definitely helps. In Wayward's case, it's all a matter of knowing how to play. Being slow and methodical will get you far. Don't rush in and attack enemies... always keep your distance and make sure you won't end up getting yourself stuck in a corner. Study the enemies' attack patterns, let them come to you. Choose when you attack wisely and when's the right time to lay it on them, or charge your attack. Oh, and always, always keep your eye on what's in your inventory. In my case, using that invisibility cloak item at the very last second is what led me to beating the boss within barely an inch of my life, rather than keeping everyone in this thread waiting. Oh, and one more thing: Dying and grinding is all part of the game. It's going to happen and you're only going to get better as you play more and upgrade, so don't mind death...embrace it.
Wooooooooo metalcasket! Well done my man! Alright Scotty boy, this is all you Anyone happen to know what person is #5?
What an inspirational speech. I totally 100% agree mate, thank you very much Kepa, keep this up you legend. What a way to give out promo codes
That is some very good advice. I never really played a rogue like game before. I wish I would have seen this when it was my turn. I didn't charge into the rooms all crazy but I could have definitely used more strategy. The hardest problem for me was knowing which floor I was on because you have to make decisions like, should I use this item now or am I completely screwed because my health is way too low to fight the boss. Health in this game is so vital. You do get some more after going to the next floor but if you think you are on floor 5 and you only have a tiny bit of health all hope is lost. Then I would die and find out that I was on the forth floor and I could have gained more health if I just advanced to the next floor.
This is a revolutionary day. I don't see how this is possible but there are so many inspirational speeches and comments in this thread that I'm finding myself hard to control my emotions. This is startling... EVERYBODY NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS.
Well the circumstances when I was playing the game was extremely stressful. My body and hands were literally shaking a times and I was sweating a lot. My thumbs were completely sore for playing constantly for hours. I also have anxiety problems which made things worse. It was such an honor to play it early but I wish I just waited instead because the stress was not worth it all. I did enjoy the hell out of it. I won't give it a number because of the weird circumstance. My favorite part would be, after playing for many hours some new would happen and I would be like wtf? Also it's completely satisfying when you use a power up item correctly while you destroy all of the enemies in the room. Sometimes a power up will backfire on you because you didn't plan out things that well or something goes wrong and you would have been better without using it.
Well said sir, well said. You shouldn't have stressed yourself out over completing the task, and you should've rested when you needed to. I mean look after your health, you can play the game again anytime, but because you have a more serious problem, don't rush it. Well at least it's over and done with yeah?
So you're #4? Good luck mate, and this is going waaay too slow, I think I might as well just wait for the release. I'm still thinking though...
I think the kid has been eating too much candy. Go play Mage Gauntlet, dude, it'll soften your wait and it's a crazy incredible game.
I've finished it and I never go over a game again after I complete it. Except for Wayward, this time I'm excused.
Thank you! You're right. I am going to need a bit of a break from gaming just for several hours. Tonight I will probably have dreams or nightmares based on this game. And to think... I missed the birth of my great-great-great-great-great-great granddaughter to play this game. It was totally worth it but I should probably see how that went.
