Here's the big Toucharcade video for anyone coming into the thread after it scrolls off the main page: http://toucharcade.com/2014/03/21/gdc-2014-wayward-souls/ Yeah we never really take "put us in the game" requests. People really love the look of Cultist.
She also seems to be the most fun character. I can't wait to get my grubby hands all over her and have my way with her.
Especially with the knight in the Touch Arcade video it looks like after attacking the character sort of stalls with sword drawn all the way; is that intentional with that sort if weapon or class? It doesn't look very responsive if there's a deadzone after attack leaving players vulnerable but maybe I'm misperceiving things.
NO though there's a sewer. Yeah it's intentional. Big two handers = long cleave radius, long range, longer immobility period after attacking. Shortswords are faster. Daggers are even faster. Though everyone has some immobility after an attack, the two-handed weapons just are the most obvious.
Thinking Monday now but really not sure. Bugfixes and such are slowing things down. Doing some final balancing tweaks in the meantime, too.
Enormous Sewer Rat you have a one in a million chance of finding. Doors shut behind you, the rat is as wide and nearly as long as the entire room. Unavoidable death.
And it leaves you at 1hp somehow grasped by its tail, mocking you for a good 2 minutes before it takes that final bite and off comes your head. 3 variations in that. Great idea Kepa!
So it's released at $5.49, then raised to $7.49 with a big update? Or is it just going to be $7.49? Also should it run on iPod gen 4? I might die if it doesn't.
Wait... what? I thought it was going to be 4.99. How can it be 5.49. You must be in a different country other than the US.
I wish it were so, but I believe Kepa hasn't submitted yet. Just a few posts up he comments on still wrapping up bug fixing.
