It seems to always happen. He can't attack right after using a lantern, and if you do he holds his sword like he's about to attack instead of attacking.
I finished the first chapter then tried to continue on with the same character, only all my stuff had reset. Is this going to change in the future?
The upgrades bought with gold are permanent. The forge upgrades are not, because then you'd have to start from the first area and survive all the way through to have more forge upgrades later, which would be annoying to have to do, instead of consistently fair. (That's basically what the developers said the reason was, from what I remember reading here.)
It's also a balance thing, since you would enter the Fallen Kingdom with fully upgraded gear and whatever your ideal build is, instead of having to sometimes settle or deal. The vanilla gear for each character is fantastic, anyways; especially for Warrior and Mage.
are the hats divided into all three dungeons? i have 120 hats and seems there's no more hats in the 2nd and 3rd dungeon...didnt got the hat achievement yet but all the skull chests are empty and didnt found a hat in hours. i've played the first dungeon just once with every character. since 95% of the play time was in the silver and golden dungeon -maybe the remaining hats are in the first dungeon?
I think we could make a really nice wikia page for Wayward Souls. The address for the utterly barebones page someone created for it is here: http://wayward-souls.wikia.com/wiki/Wayward_Souls_Wiki BlueRocket's FAQ is great, but I think it would be a lot better/faster if everyone could contribute at all times. Take the pressure off the man. Shall we invade the wiki and make it awesome? BR's FAQ would make an excellent start if he or someone else simply transferred information over (I would kind of like BR's unofficial permission before truly starting this, as he has lead the charge so far in documenting this wonderful game).
Maybe so. I mostly go to the silver dungeon, and the hats found there are slimes, purple cats, knights or thieves series. Not sure if there are miners or goblins' ones, but I don't have such.
I am fairly confident that you find enemy hats in rooms that hold/held that enemy (or at least that general enemy type). Mining hats are found in the Bronze dungeon exclusively because there are no mine rooms in the other two dungeons. Non-enemy hats are probably not so restricted. Rare hats are different because they are relatively few in number and can quickly be obtained by skull chests in any dungeon (I guess these are bugged though, and are supposed to give you normal hats when you run out of rare ones?). I expect dungeon 4 will be great for getting remaining hats because it will have enemies from everywhere, giving a much better chance for getting an enemy hat you don't have.
i have all the enemies hat from 2nd and 3rd dungeon +all the rare hats from skull chests. i'll probally have to play first dungeon to find the remaining hats -don't really like the bronze dungeon 'cos is way to easy and not challenging at all -but after alot of practice all the dungeons feels easy now is the update coming soon? i really want to play a crazy hard new dungeon
Any pro tips from anyone who finished the game? Still stuck on the silver dungeon...I swear beating dark-souls was easier... Or maybe I'm losing my touch with ios gaming controls. Gave up on ios gaming for ages till this came out. Or maybe I just suck. Anyways any tips? I really want to unlock the spell sword and that badass looking final character whose name escapes me.
^I was stuck on the silver dungeon for what seemed like ages. My tip would be to upgrade health to full and then be extremely careful when fighting the enemies. Sounds obvious of course, but the way I did it was be extremely patient and keep circling, wait for them to hit and ONLY if there was no way would I be hit would I attack. And try to lure them out of their area if possible of course. But the main reason I finished the silver dungeon was because I ran into some great upgrades. Luck played a huge part I think. Glad I'm done with it.
Anyone have tips for the warrior in gold dungeon? Everything has 4 upgrades, it's just really hard to beat. Help?
From a ton of time playing I noticed that in silver dungeon use your skills. I was cheap with the. In brinze. But amaranth is easy. Use your skills in mob situations
You should activate the shield after every attack. You don't get a dodge, so that's the most important thing in your arsenal by miles. Be careful upgrading the shield to make sure you don't pick something less useful than your current shield. Making it weak to physical or magic is going to hurt you more than it will help you. Demon/Cultist rooms are gimmies. They should not be an issue. Thorned rooms are tricky but if you can get the shield up every time the cloakers decloak you should handle things just fine. Resist the urge to use the charge attack to try to pop those weak shooters. Everything else is likely to just eat your lunch if you aren't planning it very carefully. Faceless rooms are tough. You need to draw out the midgets and punt them and then stick and move against the guys who explode for their attacks. The naked exploders are stunned by being hit so if you got one alone you can just pound them to death. The cloaked exploders don't cut you any slack so stick and move. For most of the castle, you're safe just running circles around the enemies and doing a charge attack into the mass every now and again. The slime rooms are tough. You should definitely use items against the mama slimes because you cannot beat their spawning otherwise. Magic rooms are even tougher. You should definitely be VERY careful every time you see the magic tileset and try to draw as few enemies as you can alone. Get the swipe down move down to a reflex. It takes some learning but you need to do that as quick as you do the dodge in the MOST HARDCORE GAME OF ALL TIME DARK SOULS
Shame to see game drop down from the charts so quickly. I know why devs did it but including IAP for gold and characters would have helped. Anyways i love the game but mage is useless.
I'm was born in the shadows, I am the league. You were merely adopted by the shadows. Nananana batman
iaps for gold and characters unlock?! in all premium arpgs and other type of games from any platform farmin for gold is not that easy, thats a little part that makes the game being harder. you like pay2win? search@ the store and you'll find pay to win craps. this game is made by players for players and, with the mage i had most fun beatin all the dungeons. she's fragile but is a killin' machine you need alot of practice and some skills
