I'll be so depressed if I don't defeat the catacombs by the time the warrior gets nerfed. I'll tear. Haha
So I have beat the first 2 dungeons with warrior and spell sword, who is the easiest character to beat the third dungeon with? I really want day cultist haha
Seriously, is this hie the potion is supposed to work? Ive already unlocked/bought the warrior's gift..is it a bug or what?
@ Kepa I just got the adventurer's frost amulet, and I feel it works better than the mage's ice scepter upgrade, longer ranger and actual freeze effect. Any possibility y'all could make the mage ice scepter fling the same kind of ice bolt? I feel it currently drains a lot of energy for a weak freeze effect.
Only Hook Champ and Super Quickhook had a few dialogue segments written by Kepa. Everything else has been handled by me otherwise. I would say Wayward Souls' tone is appropriate given the scenario. Even with the darker atmosphere of WS, Mage Gauntlet's initial lightheartedness would not be altered if it were remade today (despite the two stories taking place right next to each other). Universes that exist to solely satirize state of the industry aren't very interesting, so that aspect of MG was only superficial. That said, a lot of background stuff in WS will be very relevant in MG2 whenever that happens. A lot of plot elements in WS were taken from the full story of Mage Gauntlet and even parts cut from SQH's early design.
i maxed out another two characters passive upgrades. i only miss one achievement for cultist 'the tresher' i think is callled, i tried alot to get it but, i think 'cos of my bad english can't understand how/what exactly you gotta do .. anyone who got that achievement can give more info? thanks
Look at all those badges Abbi has in that screen shot Good work! I just took Abbi past Humphrey and, man, was that a royal pain in the arse! What a fantastic game.
when you play with abbie the mage you have to do acouple of things to make your way easier 'cos she's v fragile becouse of the low health bar 1. everytime you see a room that will allow you to kill enemies with your power attack, without entering the room you gotta take advantage -you can also kill some enemies in their room without them notice you 2. dodge alot, i mean alot, you can't make more then two errors on every floor, this way you will always have your health bar full 3. alot of patience and tons of practice edit: never upgrade her normal/power attack -except the one that gives a bonus to critical chance and keeps your startin staff except the spellsword(havent played to much) -with any other character the golden dungeon feels so easy now -it took some practice):
Seriously, I know your frustration here. When you do manage to defeat that; you will feel like Conan. Even if you only get by with 1 health or so *grin*...
Yep. I don't upgrade her staff if that's what you're talking about. I don't upgrade her other stuff unless it makes sense either ;-) That's half the game, right, you gotta be able to walk away from a bad deal! She's quite competent with her base skills as far as I'm concerned!
you're right. but the health bar counts alot, thats why she's so fragile): i learned one thing from all the ff series and other jrpgs/arpgs i've finished -your health is v important. i always level up/upgrade my health first -if a characher has double the health bar comparing to other character this means he can teoretic do double the damage and last double the time in fights. in practice is the same -for me at least*_^
You guys realize that you can buy this on Android and PC soon, right? You can also purchase the sound track. U.S. $4.99 is a solid deal, as you know, for this title on the App store. Buy it when it comes out for Android and buy it when it comes out on PC, that's how you can make your voice heard.
You are bang on with the health statement. Stubborn Blood I think the skill is called and, hell yes, it is crucial to the class. If we're talking permanent skills, then I say the increased energy regen, the stubborn blood and then the one that drops tome/robe spells. That one actually makes a great big difference; when you kill some swine and it drops a spell item. woot! I love this game
