first two hats are from coin chests 3rd is from a skull chest i now have +110 and still didnt got the achievement):
how the map looks if is against the rules the way i post the screenshots... feel free to tell me anyway, it takes me around 5min. or even more to load the pic with my slow 3G connection and i have to edit the ss first, so i can post one picture with 2-3ss ..
i agree. rarely use them, i only use her attack +power attack and the flames and i never upgrade her attack at forge -only if is the same attack +bonus to critical chance -others are to weak, i tried them all and dosent worth it
Aside from the one that shortens range, the others all seem comparable or somewhat better than the starting staff to me. Heck, even the short range one might work for some players.
If it was really problematic, the mods would have told him, but since it's linked directly to the game and it's not spam, I guess they don't mind.
yes, may feel diffrent for every player i dont upgrade the weapon for any of the characters -only upgrade i made is the same attack +bonus to critical chance for me the startin weapons are the best
Exactly, and that's where it deserves to be. Also as long as it is game relevant, I don't see any arm done (except the ever growing hatred that I haven't found nearly as many hats as he did).
thanks every post i made with a screenshot in it is v annoyng becouse i wait alot to load the picture i think is more fun when you share with others -so is worth the waiting but i dont wanna argue... if is disturbing i'll stop adding ss. anyway, every picture loaded eats my battery and my 3G data plan ...
I think they should have a better icon. I glossed over this a bunch of times because the icon looks bad. Little did I know it was a game I have been waiting for!
You guys should add a $1 IAP called Wayward Tolls which would add a gold cost to moving between stages.
But why are they the best though? I do think some of the upgrades have a downside or a feature that won't help me the way I play, but most of them offer some bonus without a downside beyond just a +critical spec.
Gameplay question: Are the levels meant to get harder when you play with an upgraded character? I've fully upgraded Warrrior (except the gift) and am still trying to get past Amaranth's Keep. This might just be my imagination, as I know the levels are procedurally generated, but it seems like the Keep has become more difficult as I've maxed out the upgrades--lots more trap and treasure rooms appear, more jerkweed enemies per room. It could also just be that I'm losing focus as I repeat that level and so the game only seems harder. Anyone else notice this? Thanks in advance for any info or confirmation.
i update just the bonuses added to my startin weapon. like bonus to critical chance +greater bonus, a chance to inflict poison and all the upgrades that keep the weapon i start with i like those weapons more to bad i cant make gameplay videos... i allready asked twice on this thread about this... and once in the general game diss section
If you want to take a pic of each hat, I'd love to add them to the FAQ! I just don't have the time to do that...
Go ahead and make gameplay videos, I like to see those. Thinking about nerfing the starter weapons slight and/or buffing the upgrade weapons, if people are just avoiding upgrades. Mostly looking into the energy cost for all the attacks right now. Some of these may sneak into Update 1. One thing I'm thinking of is making Adventurer have really cheap power attacks, so he can use them a lot. Even though Update 1 won't really go into the Rogue buffs and other balance tweaks, I'm still tweaking some things already. One is that the Rogue armors are getting a little stronger. As an example, the Toadskin Cowters will always poison enemies that hit you, the second level of the upgrade just does more poison damage. Nullguards absorb 2 or 3 spells instead of 1 or 2. In Update 2, Black Cat Braces will give you a free stealth whenever you get hit, with the second version giving you a pretty long stealth. Also changing the Hush Slippers to give you a free stealth whenever you kill a tough enemy. Then the Mirage Poniard can be buffed, because it no longer would rely on two rare drop upgrades to get really strong. Health potion changes might not be until update 2, depends on if we slip in the change to warrior upgrade. We're going with replacing his potion upgrades with a +1 to +5 damage bonus for his next swing after he's hit. The Gift would give the +5 damage bonus version to all other classes. There's other stuff coming in the update, too, but the above are more recent developments.
