I have lots of trouble progressing inth third dungeon :
i play mostly with mage which is the character i am the most comfortable with. I have all the upgrades for it and can dot the silver dungeon easily with it.

But in the gold dungeon, good runs stops at level 4-5 at most and most of them finish before that.

The problem is i don't know how to manage some ennemies mainly :
    - the invisible guys which charge at you.
    - the mines

Any specific tactics against these? (like ways to detect them before the explode/charge).

    Thanks in advance

I've beat the whole game with the warrior and it tells me I have to wait for the update to get an extra map. So fair I have 45 hats people have said that there are 250 total.but I don't believe that this game is hard but I love demon souls so the difficulty is just right. Over all a really good game

Those purple avatar bastard in d2 are brutal with rogue. Mopped them up,with Mage and warrior. Many of those guys don't get stunned with kick.

A positive and advantage of this kind of game appears to be how endless it can be since the maps are all randomly generated.... But as someone that sucks at this game seeing the 100 enemies makes me think I'm never going to be able to defeat this game or that one room of enemies.

Does the random nature of the game make anyone think this is skewed against the player in anyway?

    Beat with all characters, wooh!

I'd love to post screenshots of things I find, bit my iPod's home button doesn't work...

    Can't wait for D4!

Edit: I don't know if I remember reading this or if I'm making up remembering reading this, but I (might?) recall reading that the fourth dungeon will be more personalized for each character. Or maybe it was the final boss... or both? Is this a thing, Kepa, or is my memory comprised of lies and deceit?

No. It's just a difficult game. Sometimes you'll get lucky and get a half baked level though. Just yesterday I was able to get through 3 floors without much resistance.

May I suggest a money sink? Offering up a certain amount of money (maybe an increasing amount depending on your floor?) to the ember forge before you use it will allow you to choose from all upgrades in an equipment category. The equipment category would still be chosen completely at random, which is why the offering must be made before checking the forge's options. There's still some chance involved if you decide to offer up money, you get to choose the upgrade that you think will benefit you the most in the upcoming floors, and there's an additional money sink in the game. Just a suggestion :D

I'm playing on my 3rd gen iPod Touch OS 5.1.1 smoothly and with no problems, so it's really amazing.

    A number of feedback:

    - The Mage's earth staff's charge attack feels underwhelming. Either the range on it is too small, or enemies hit do not flinch.
    - The Adventurer's lantern forge upgrade into a dash feels unintuitive. You swipe backwards, but dash forwards, which feels very strange. Possible solutions are to either change it to a backwards dash similar to Mage's robe upgrade, or change it entirely, as the adventurer already has an amulet dash upgrade.
    - The Adventurer cannot attack immediately after using his lantern. This makes using it reactively to block projectiles while in the midst of meleeing very unwieldy.
    - I know you've mentioned that the Rogue's upgrades with the stealth duration is supposed to synergise with her stealth-granting dash upgrade, but due to the nature of the forge system, it is practically impossible to plan or even attempt to get those upgrades in the same run.

My personal favorite so far is the Spellsword, as I personally prefer dashes to shields, and I really like the upgrades he gets.

Question: Does the Adventurer's sword upgrade with chance to obliterate foes work on bosses? :p

It doesn't feel strange to me. You swipe down and dash whichever direction forward is. It's a defensive move, which are all a down swipe. Makes sense to me.
I think the cultist also has a down swipe dash upgrade.

But then the adventurer also has an up swipe dash upgrade, although that ends in an explosion, right? So it's offensive like the other up swipes. Close enough, I guess.
