will the gold drop be increased in the 3rd dungeon in the next update? after you beat it there's no reason to come back 'cos the rooms are full of enemies and you can rarely see a coin chest -you clear room after room and get no reward ... i want to play it but my aim is gold and hats farm and seems the 2nd dungeon is the best for that
I thought that dungeon dropped more overall, already. Probably not the best farming location, though, just due to the difficulty.
is not the best becouse dosent drop to much gold the treasure rooms from the 3rd dungeon drop 1-2 treasures the treasure rooms from 2nd dungeon drop 2-3treasures +a skull chest sometimes also the second dungeon drops more coin chests
i have almost 100hats 80% come from 2nd dungeon 15% from the 3rd 5% from the first first dungeon i played just once with every character the 2nd dungeon playtime is almost equal to the time spent playin the 3rd dungeon edit: 2nd dungeon gives me a cool maze map that host the skull chest every 2-3 floors -sometimes i get 2maze maps in a row 3rd dungeon dosent seems to have maze maps like 2nd dungeon have playing 7floors in the silver dungeon gives me at least a skull chest +lots of gold(comparing to 3rd) playin 7floors in the 3rd dosent give no skull chest ,neither hats from coin chest and also gives few gold does the map generator has unlimited randomly maps? i'm startin to learn almost all the maps -it feels there are just a dozen of maps that generates over and over maybe i'm wrong but i know i always get same maps -will be cool to be random everytime you play -now they are random but if i play again tomorrow i'll get the maps from today ... at least at me is this way
How about the hats? What's the point of the hats? Do they confer some bonus? I can't imagine they are only for show - it's not an MMO, so there's no one to show them too. Also, Humphrey is kicking my butt with the mage. I have about 50% of the upgrades. Looks like I'll have 100% before I finally kill him.
Purely cosmetic. It's been the same in all RocketCat games. In wayward it gives a sense of gaining something even on failed runs. Even if they don't really do anything, aside from looking cool.
Hats are entirely for show. Hats are placed in every rocketcat game just for aesthetic purposes. With Humprey, focus on keeping as much distance as possible away from him. when he stops to take a swing, make sure you move around to one of his sides and take a few shots at him. The key with Humphrey is being patient and waiting for a good opening.
i'm looking for any assistance from members here on adding additional useful information to the FAQ: http://grfxpstore.com/waywardsouls What I think would be helpful would be tips for getting through each dungeon with different characters. High level strategies and gotcha's maybe? Tips on fighting enemies you'll find in different rooms might be useful as well, i.e.: slime rooms, Tormentor rooms, etc. Also thinking we may want to add all of the different forge upgrades for each character, so if you have screenshots you can upload at full resolution to postimg or a similar site that you can share with me, that'd be helpful as well. If you notice any other hats that I do not have listed, trying to keep that list as up to date as possible I want to make the FAQ as useful for people (experienced and newbie's alike), any help would be greatly appreciated. PM me rather than posting it here as I may miss some threads.
Ones I don't think are listed yet: -Drudge Mask -Bileboar Toupee -Knight Visored Helm -Rook Towermask -Guard's Helm -Mask of the King -Tetramont Tiara -Black Cat Cowl -Cranium Slime -Seal Mask I think I may have actually run out of rare hats. When I open a skull chest now, my character raises their hands in the air like they found a hat, but there's nothing there. Would it be possible for the skull chests to start providing common hats when this happens? Or is there some reason why they shouldn't?
Kepa, since warriors have strong attacks, how about making the warrior gift grant bonus charge attack damage? That could also be a replacement for the warrior's personal potion buff, if not flat out extra swing damage. Another idea is longer invulnerability duration after getting hit. Slight energy recovered per enemy killed. Consuming a shield charge has a chance to restore HP imbaaaa Using an axe/item grants a hefty bonus to critical chance on your next attack. Like a berserker thing going on. *Edited out the shield from activating this I'm just working on that 'Warrior' name.
Great game! From a cursory glance at thread it seems like people have been addressing things for future updates that generally vibe with my feelings on the game. One thing that I didn't see that I think would help would be rewards for exploring levels. Since the upgrades are on fixed levels, if I find the stairs early on a no -upgrade level, there's not a lot keeping me from going straight down unless I want to hunt for some gold and items (yet there's probably not enough gold per level to make it worth the potential loss of health and I mostly forget to use items until the bosses). Not sure how you fix this, though, without altering the entire incentive system.
Honestly people, I think enough salt has been poured over this amazing game. Lets get back to the main focus! Which is, how do I beat the freaking fallen kingdom levels!! I got to level 6 with my warrior but I died when a HUGE swarm of Zombies behind a gate just cornered me and boom im dead.. Sigh
The game is not stupid hard. It's very, very strategic. Each enemy has it's own unique ability / attack that you need to learn / memorize & master. Master the way of beating them. It's so rewarding! I've crushed the first and second dungeon pretty much. Still need to beat the second boss on the rogue / adventurer / cultist. Anyways, it's not do hard where it's impossible. It's a damn challenge, and a pleasing one at that. It's not just hack, slash, easy peasy pumpkin squeezy. A TON of care went into this game. The music, the atmosphere, the beautiful visuals, the amazing vibe. Random generated dungeons, many many types of enemies, many many classes, 250+ hats, upgrades. Everything
I just can't beat the second dungeon. Always die at level 6. At least in Demon souls/Dark Souls you can summon someone to help. Great well made game but it's driving me insane.
