    That is one of my favorites to wear in Mage Gauntlet. Don't have it yet in Wayward Souls though.

    the ghosts are tryin to fix the forge
    they talked alot more then that but is hard posting to many ss via mobile

    the only downside of the 3rd dungeon is: you kill rooms full of enemies and you dont get any coin chest -the rooms rarely have one
    the 2nd dungeon is the best if you wanna farm for gold and hats

    Hey Devs I have some questions and ideas/suggestions and such,
    (Also Keep I mind I haven t unlocked the Cultist yet)

    Playing as the Warrior I've come across a Shield level 2 forge? Is this only for him cuz I've never seen a lvl 2 forge upgrade before? ( do other classes have this? If not they should)

    My biggest gripe with the Warrior is how the shield is used... Going from attacking to swiping down to shield and back just doesn't feel right.. I'd like an option for the shield to auto equip when not attacking or something like that(Maybe as an upgrade?) Or having a seperate button to activate the shield.

    The Rogue's abilty to steal energy sounds good in theory but that's about it.(unless I'm missing something, I dunno it's just not that usefull) how about stealing health(now that would be cool)

    As far as items go, the ones that can unleash an attack on enemies should be able to be set with a button, if not that maybe as a side swipe or something having to go into the menu to use it feels kind of inconvenient during a battle(sometimes its good to stop and think how and where to use it but sometimes you just to use it ASAP right away) Another idea would be to able to carry more items by grouping the same ones together ( for example if you have 3 health potions it fills the same slot with a # 3 next to or I front of it..) And a max limit could be set.

    As for new items/weapons I'd like to see, how about a decoy to confuse enemies?( the Adventurers shadow attacker is cool but I'd like some thing that last longer etc..) Also you know what would be cool remote mines(maybe even being able to throw dynamite like that dude in the mines). Finnaly something like boomerang would be cool or some kind of long ranged weapon that doesn't run out...hmm how bout a hookshot too?( nah jk I think I've stolen enough ideas from Zelda)

    Ok and Finnaly a new character I would like to see( I don't know if more characters are planed but here's my suggestion anyway)

    This character would be from the Mage class as a Wizard, Warlock, Sorcerer etc...(There's alot of sword/melee fighters and only one Mage)

    I don't know exactly what he/she would be called. but as far as abilities go (s)he would have healing abilities, the abilty to learn and use enemy/monster attacks, and be able to boost his own power/status in differnt ways. Ok, Yes this sounds way to overpowered etc.(Not to mention probly extremely difficult to program and really complicated) . But there could be ways to balance him/her out like not being able to get items(I guess like the opposite of the Rogue (s)he can only acquire up and down swipes from enemies and chests. What they should look like I have no idea maybe a medical cross with a shield around it and a skull and crossbones?)/ being (well in his natural state) very slow, weak and plain to start. Gradually this character would get stronger by learning diffirent enemy attacks. The way I would do it is to give him some sort is staff/ wand etc that is very weak, maybe have it shoot out small little beam. His down swipe moves would be heal/temp. Boost speed, Defense/attack ( positive effects) and up swipe moves do differt enemy attatcks. As far as learning enemy attacks it would be set to certain enemies only such as learning the axe throw from the dissapering re-appearing guys, the multi directional poison attack from the giant Boars(wizard guys), the green blob creator from the Giant green blobs, the fire spit from the tiny little creatures that statue for sec. after taking damge, the raining beam of electricity from the tribe of green and purple guys, the beam shot from the wizard guys. I guess the hardest part is how you choose the attacks and the easiest way I guess is to have it be random. His forge upgrades would grant him multible positive abilties at once so instead of just healing it could heal and give temp boost to defense or speed, as far as the enemy abilities they could be strengthened, and I guess the other upgrade could be for his basic attack. I'm still not sure exactly about how the acquiring of enemy moves should go exacly, should it be after he's killed one , or after he's killed a certain number or maybe it could be excecuted through his basic attack somehow maybe by charging up and standing next to it or something... I dunno anyways now I'm just blabbering and confusing myself. So I'll just stop now :/

    the #2forge upgrade i think i saw it at all characters
    is something like:
    #1 a bonus to critical chance
    #2 a greater bonus to critical chance

    The level 2 forge upgrades only show up if you've already upgraded that item. If you've already upgraded your weapon (for example) once in a run and you find another weapon upgrade forge, the options will both be level 2 and have slightly better effects.

    3GS iPhone? Does that even have a retina screen? I'm surprised it runs. This must be why we're not getting a lot of "it doesn't run" complaints haha.

    Upgrades that are very different were too much of a pain to balance for six characters. I'm thinking about getting rid of the Warrior potion upgrade and gift, and replacing them with something else, though. Something unique is a good idea.

    We have pets planned for a later update. Probably the 3rd update which is quite a ways off. They'll work like you guessed, temporary buff that you lose when you die. You'll find them in cages, which will show up in addition to chests.

    Haven't seen that bug, will try to duplicate it.

    There will be monster shopkeepers eventually. That's intended as the money sink. Until then, maybe we'll just put in a scoreboard for money collected?

    We actually had a Zelda-y character. And we also were planning the character you talk about later in your post, an "enemy move stealer". It would have been a shapeshifter. Cut after we decided there would be 7 characters, max, ever.

    Other characters can find level 2 forges too, yeah.

    Warrior autoblocking would remove the finesse out of the move. May as well just remove shields and give him more health in that case, really.

    We may do something for quickly activating items using controller support. Not sure yet. PC version would just let you press hotkeys to use items without pausing, I think.

    Better make potions heal more then. :eek:
    Considering they are so rare and heal barely any they are close to useless normally. And the warrior is the only one who gets a "potions heal more" skill. :eek:

    Man, that's really ashame no new characters ever? Sounds like you plan to upgrade other stuff just curious why about the character?( I'm guessing it has to deal with programming ? that makes sense...a new character having to interact with things on a game with infinite level possibilities sounds very time consumming and difficult)

    Dang...I want that Shapeshifter :( can I Trade in the SpellSword for him?


    You're ablsolutley right about the shield and auto-blocking I think that's why I don't like the warrior that much? Because to me dashing out of the way with the Rogue feels right to me dash around a character by swiping and hit him, but swiping to bring up shield... I dunno that's taking some getting used to.( when I think of shielding or blocking something I associate it with holding down a button)

    *Also if you have anything to do with Super Quickhook I'm wondering how and the heck did someone get that time on the endless avalanche mode?

    Yeah what I think I'll do is just get rid of the heal potion upgrades, BUT make all heal potions act like they do when max upgraded. This isn't too strong either heh, it gives you about as much health as going downstairs does with one upgrade. They'd still be really rare.

    Adding new characters is a ton of work. All the upgrades, equipment forge stuff, and balancing. We're going to make the Paladin fully playable in a future update, and make her an unlock that you get by beating the game with all other characters.

    What's with all the spellsword hate? He can dash to dodge! And has a chance to stun with his charge attack! And magic spell items! I like him. :eek:



    Her? (Just wondering if that was a typo.)
    And will they be able to go through all the areas, not just their own final story area?

    i'm so fast when using warrior's shield that it feels the option to auto-put the shield on exist
    you just gotta attack and swipe really fast
    takin his shield will be a downside...

    like spellsword is now -i dont like him 'cos it takes all the energy to use his power attack and you have only his normal attack after -no dash -just pause the game for scroll use... this character is not fun to play at all

    I can't remember the tutorial Paladin's gender because the paladins are all in heavy armor. I think Gallus is male?

    Not sure yet whether or not the Paladin will go through all the areas, or just have their own new area to fight in. Probably the latter, though. By that point you've unlocked the normal map often enough, I think.

    all the characters have something cool and fun to use while playin
    the spellsword dosent offer much fun

    and this game is all about havin fun, skills, being fast and have some luck

    Spellsword and Adventurer have to be my favorite classes. I feel Spellsword gets all the good spells and is handy when it comes to magic mobs. Same thing goes with the Adventurer.

    I didn't say I didn't like the Spell Sword I just like him the least( Well probly, haven't played the Cultist yet)

    Just thinking how cool it would be if Nintendo let y'all use Link as a special character...I wonder how much it would cost to license him or acquire the rights to whatever?

    i'm more into action -you dont get any when you gotta pause the game 4times in a row to use his scrolls, and all the characters can use scrolls -i rarely use them, thats why i dont play him

    edit: i posted alot of screenshots -if you take a look in most of them i have the inventory full of scrolls 'cos i dont use them
    adventure has his cool lantern to use +scrolls +power attack +his stun swipe , spellsword has his powerattack that uses all the energy, the dash and scrolls ... maybe will get more abillity's in future update

    cultist also has great scrolls to use but she can shot two daggers with a bar of energy, has two other swipe abillity's ...

    Ya, I agree with this.. having to pause the game to do an attack needs a hotkey button option(this button could also be a be a general hotkey maybe for the shield too maybe I dunno) thing about those attacks where you have to aim would make it kinda difficult though...

    Spellsword is a killer class. I mopped up d1 and d2 in single runs. Charge stab and dash out. Easiest kill set

    you can wipe out the first two dungeons with any character

    bronze - easy
    silver - normal
    gold - hard
