if someone can answer/help me with some info here http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=226776 i could make some videos "how to have fun, farm for coins and hats after you beat the game" @ "rush into rooms and kill everything it moves" gameplay
I'd like to see auto rotation being added. I always play on my iPad with the home button on the left, as that's the way the Smart Cover folds. Quite annoying as is.
Manual screen rotation (Flip Screen - Off/On) works fine and is great for when you're playing while lying flat down on your back so that the screen doesn't flip in the worst of times.
how to get the slimes out of their room easiest way is with: mage's power attack, warrior axes and cultist daggers -all have long range. works with almost all enemies from the first two dungeons
a treasure room from the 3rd dungeon with enemies who dosen't attack you i also posted like ten pages ago about the big room with 150 shadows in it that host a skull chest -they don't attack if you just walk on the alley. i killed all of the shadow once but had to get them out of the room, didnt made damage inside of the room... dont know exactly why ):
No matter what I do I can't seem to get past Amaranth as the Mage. I think I've tried and failed 10 times at this point. Any tips? Also, I lost a lot of health on my previous round due to a notification popping up under my d-pad while I was in a firefight. RocketCat, please add auto-rotation as soon as possible.
There's manual rotation under options as "Flip Screen", Off or On. The downside is that screenshots will be upside down. For Amaranth as a mage, here's how I beat him: Amaranth fight starts at 15:55. When you get an opening (like after he charges at you), quickly spam your fire spell 3 to 5 times depending on how fast you can swipe then get out of the way. When at range, spam any other spells you have. Otherwise, attack him from max distance and take note of how often he attacks so you can move before he does. Remember that your defensive spell (down swipe) also deals damage so you can spam that when you run out of fire. Don't mind the guards that spawn unless there's absolutely no space to move. In fact, let Amaranth kill the guards for you by putting the guards in between you and the boss.
I've figured out what this game reminds me of. The original Ghosts n Goblins arcade game. That game was hard and relentless as hell. But, I didn't care, I kept coming back for more. WS is of the same ilk. I've played and played, and really suck at it, LOL. I don't care, I keep firing up a new run and keep at it. I've only found two hats (Knight Helmet and Sandwich Hat). Very awesome game, Kepa. Keep up the awesome work! Rob
I finally got around to recording some Cultist gameplay! Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel This is the first time I played the Cultist but managed to clear the entire Mines level without any upgrades. Cultist upgrades when maxed: - 15% critical chance bonus - +5 bonus backstab damage - 20% increased drop chance for ammunition - 20% faster energy regeneration - 30% energy returned when using a tattoo skill - 5% chance to stun when attacking - +5 health when entering the next floor
