I encountered the strangest Ashen Cult floor in one of my runs. There was only one room with actual enemies from the area, as well as about 6 rooms full of fire traps and one with... orcs. I wasn't aware orcs could even appear in this dungeon, since every other enemy type I've seen has been restricted to only one dungeon. Not only that, but they were on a themed floor, which generally sticks to one set of enemies.
Same as you, I had a little go with rogue on the mines but really need to get used to new moves so ill prob stick with warrior too.
becouse the trick that works for me is to retry and this way i get more maze maps note: i dont know if is the best way but it got me 60 hats this way
But if you kill the boss you still get to "retry" afterwards? So it's the same whether you kill him or not. Basically you're saying you go through the 2nd dungeon over and over because regardless of killing the boss, you'll repeat the 2nd dungeon. When you say "get more maze maps" is confusing because whether you beat the boss or not, the levels will be randomized again when you go through the 2nd dungeon again. Am I understanding you correctly?
everytime i beat it i got no maze maps that host the skull chests -if you beat it you have to "continue" -there is no retry if you get killed you can retry -most of the times i retry i get a maze map .. edit: continue -you have to select your character and start from what dungeon you want retry -you start from the begginin of the dungeon you died with same character when i select a character and start the dungeon most of the times the floors are v similar -everytime i select a character the dungeon floor dosent change to much when you retry the random generator gives more and more randomly floors and the chances of gettin maze floors is increased -works for me! maybe the devs can give us more info about how the dungeon generator works ...
I wish the bosses dropped some money when you kill them. As it is, once you've beaten dungeons, there's very little incentive to go kill the boss again if you're trying to max out skills I know Rocketcat devs are around, so maybe something can be done so that there's a bonus for killing bosses ? (IE : 1-2 Chests available after killing them, or a Gold bonus) Another thing that kinda irks me is the fact that some of the forge bonuses are actually malus - not all of them of course, but quite a few have a big disadvantage where the basic weapon / ability would have been better than the resulting improvement. Can a small rebalance patch be done to ensure that there's always an incentive to use the forge ?
That looks awesome! I am playing on two devices. A total of 10 something. Could lose half when icloud support comes out. btw are hats consumables or not?
Totally agree with you on the boss drops. I just downloaded the Mage Gauntlet and there seems to be plenty of weapons and armors in it. Maybe dev plans to add them later. Huge updates are coming. But then, it might just feel like a different game with gears. Btw "here's very little incentive to go kill the boss again"?! Please do share some tips on beating the bosses!
Hats arnt consumables, there just cosmetic, I so far have four out if over 30 hours play but my last 10 hours play I didn't explore fully as I was getting frustrated and wanted to get straight to Humphrey.
Who's this Humphrey? Some final boss? I read it in a review that we could continue from a checkpoint with different characters. Seems that it's not the case.
There's not much to say about that that hasn't been already said. The whole game requires observation of the attack patterns of the ennemies and timing with your attack / ability use. The bosses are no exception. In a way, and it's pretty cool, It gives me the same feeling that I had when I played games on my SNES back in the day. At first, you get your butt kicked, but once you've figured the patterns, you get to win easily. At first the first boss and first dungeon gave me trouble, now it's a breeze and I can beat it easily. I'm almost at the same level now for the second dungeon, but the third dungeon is still kicking me in the nuts I had totally forgotten about that feeling, and it's pretty awesome.
I was so proud to get to the third boss until I just got my ass beat. Then it was like, time to try again! Any tips for warrior and third boss?
after almost 2hours of trying i finally found first skull chest in the 3rd dungeon this is how the map looks -the room was all dark-hard to see- and had at least 150 shadow enemies in it didnt had the chance to make a ss 'cos was tryin to survive;d got a sandwich hat from the chest
Any links to the story and of there is any back story? I get the warrior had his brother killed. The Mage has a sister
