I found Tara's hat in one of the slime mazes and now I'm wondering if it's one of the early adopter hats. Odd.

Hmmmm why can I not get past like lv 6 in the second map. I just make small mistakes over time and it dwindles my health down.

I only tried the the second level once so far. But I think I'm going to keep using the warrior for a while since I've got all his stats built up about half way. I tried the Mage once and she's pretty cool (I really like the ranged attacks), but I'm just used to the warrior and don't feel like experimenting with the others quite yet. Who are you using mostly?

Pretty sure all of the early adopter hats can be found in game, they're just rare. Being an early adopter just saves you the trouble of finding them.

Tips on the 2nd boss for warrior:

Beat him on my 1st try and had a handicap

Btw, handicap was a glitch/hidden feature that I did not know about. Basically the sword upgrade the makes your charge attack stationary and allows you to block projectiles (not worth it btw) makes your charge attacks useless on shield enemies. They'd all go into counter mode so I basically had to hit them, dodge, attack or hit from behind which was very difficult.

For the boss, his moves are pretty generic. They all consist of a sword swing. One is a dash swing and another is just a regular swing. He'll keep dropping new enemies but at some point I ignored them (because of my handicap, I can't kill them quickly). And that was where I found out the best method was to have the enemies inbetween me and the boss and let him hit them. I'd say he killed about half the minions for me. I did get hit here and there but with the Warrior, you should pull up your shield either as you run or when you expect a counter attack. I started the match with less than a quarter health but still had a sliver left and killed the boss. His moves are more predictable than the 1st boss and overall in my opinion is easier. However with other classes, this may not be the case. The first boss has the 8 way attack that just destroyed me many times over.

Spellsword down. This was the quickest run so far, though I don't know if that's because the Spellsword is particularly powerful or because I'm getting better at the third dungeon in general. I just have the two dagger users left, and I'm not particularly good with either of them.

Spellsword is the best class. Once I unlocked him, his first play I didn't get very far admittedly but I killed so many enemies (as the game gives me rooms of orcs / hogs everytime I choose Spellsword). His skills are all amazing and he attacks quick and hard. However his 2 first upgrades don't seem to have too much use until late game when you have to rely on your items.

I would agree the 2nd is at least better than the first. I haven't gone through the 3rd yet but the 1st was all regualr chests and not a single guaranteed hat chest since my first hour of playing the game. The 2nd is where I got most of my hats though they come once every 3-4 hours for me.

    my strategy to find hats:
after beating the 2nd dungeon with all the characters(except spellsword-dont like him) so after beating it i played the 2nd dungeon just to master the characters and when i reach the boss i let myself killed and then retry -this way the random floor generator gives me more maze maps that have the skull/hat chest. i also noticed this way i find more hats in the normal coin chests. don't know if this is the best way to find more hats but for me works

Woooooo beat Humphrey with Mage. I'm getting much better with Mage now, rogue I made it to Humphrey on my first play so I think I'm going to like her as well (lost on Humphrey though)

I do know it's difficult to be realized, but if there were multiplayer mode which 2 players explore the dungeon in coop... that's wonderful :)

If I recall her name correctly,
Sophia, Baron Amaranth's daughter. Isn't she (well, her possessed by the mask) the third dungeon boss?

    That room makes me cringe.

I'm actually getting better at killing those guys, it's just sometimes I casually stroll into a room and not notice them.

So there are these encounters with normal enemies where they have a bit of dialogue before they start beating you up (I'm pretty sure they're always guarding at least one treasure pile). I've seen cultists, drudges, orcs, and I've seen this lone zombie warrior a couple times now. He says "Haec fecisti! Te belua! Calor mea! REDDITE EAM!!" before he attacks you. Google translate a little bit and it turns out it's latin... kind of. Google translate says it means "This you did! You monster! The heat alone! Give it!!". Not sure if it's supposed to make more sense than that and Translate's just being stupid, or if the zombie's the stupid one here. Just thought I'd share for future reference :D
