Which character should I invest in? Finally beat Humpfrey as a warrior. Now that I've unlocked adventurer, should I start investing coins in him or should I stick with warrior. My playstyle is melee. Advice appreciated, thanks.
Do a Mine run with the Adventurer and see if you like him. He's harder to play than the warrior, however.
I finally made to to Humphrey with mage, Im sure i must have been pretty close, but i fumbled up a couple dodges and just couldnt seal the deal
Finished with the Adventurer. Unfortunately I didn't have any hourglasses this time, so the boss finally got a chance to attack. I mean, he still died, but he actually hurt me this time. Hopefully I'll be able to finish with the other three classes (Rogue, Spellsword, Cultist) before the update.
Is there any reason to use shield? If you attack it goes away, and trying to swipe to activate it again in the middle of battle just gets me hit. Maybe the problem is just that I'm playing on ipad.

I finally made it to the catacombs with my warrior class. This is by far the hardest dungeon yet :0. Any tips for a fellow warrior like me? I have all his skills to level 4 btw
I copied the Library Folder as a whole from my iPad 3 to my iPhone 4 and that did the trick. I managed to continue my game from my iPad on my iPhone. Unsure if it has any unintended side effects, but it solves the cross-save requirements, albeit in a sub-optimal way.
Wayward Souls Hey guys, I beat Humphrey on my first try at the game (I 100%'d Mage Gauntlet) and I can't beat the last dungeon Can I have some tips?
I gotta say great difficulty. Not moronic like league of evil or SMB. I will say beating that first dungeon was like realizing you were hoping to smash your prom date. Great times

Alright, not that this game needs more praise heaped upon it or anything but for the sake of thread-participation: I suck massively at this, still not beaten Humphrey, but enjoy every moment of getting there and feeling that I'm improving... the next run will be "the one" (but it hasn't been so far hahah). There is something that can't be put properly into words about why I just want to play again and again but I do. I think it's the purity of the game, and the sublime randomisation are the key things. They really nailed the randomisation and I have no idea how each layout and run can feel so hand crafted and unique when it obviously isn't. I've done the mines up to Humphrey probably 30+ times now and still seeing new stuff. Amazing work on that, really clever stuff! So yeah this totally deserves the hype, no "sheep factor" here as some have suggested (yes I read the whole thread and other articles here). You cannot hold a good game back! Hope it does well for them, but they could just skin this for any number of themes and I'd buy them all I reckon. Sci-Fi version would be nice like System Shock 2
