So how is replaying story scenes going to work? Will it be an option that doesn't have to be activated every run? I would prefer to always see the story, so being able to just leave the option on would be good.
#7 paid app in Canada. #73 top grossing. 30 reviews, 25 or so are 5 Stars. All in all, that's a pretty good start. Now, I'm back to the game.
My vote is for no large changes to the difficulty settings. I think it's silly that people complain about the difficulty when it's completely surmountable with just a little extra effort. I love that Wayward Souls kicks my butt. It makes me think before I enter a room, instead of just charging in. Sure, the game's difficult. But you guys intended for the game to be tough, right? Though, if you're adding rare monster shopkeepers, here's what I'd have them sell. 1. Rare Monster Hats 2. Monster-Exclusive Items (including monster potions that are equally effective as regular potions, and give your skin a green hue for the rest of your run) 3. Super Expensive Monster Character (once you've mastered the game, the monster shopkeeper is available as a playable character. Super slow but strong. Throws the heads of his dismembered enemies.) Just throwing it out there while you're watching the thread, Kepa.
Read through 83 pages and I can finally join the bandwagon. Best semi-roguelike dungeon crawler I've found on iOS. Music is incredibly immersive. Art is simple but beautiful. Controls work perfectly on my old iPad 2, might be because I swipe diagonally. Gameplay is challenging enough to be rewarding without sacrificing replayability. My hat addiction is currently sated. But the itch is returning. I'm thinking 9000+ hats should be good enough. You hear that Rocketcat? If you don't make more hats, I will die of hat deprivation. This is your fault. Take responsibility.
Hard game but fun. I really wish button control could be added rather than swipe for additional powers As it is it s a pain :/
I think that sort of thing holds more urgency in a freemium game where there is no ceiling to the number of perishable items someone could use to improve their chances, thus making the top players suspect in terms of skill. I'd rather use my maxed characters in an endless mode since there are no people paying to win to compete with.
Sorry if is already answered, but how to get the early buyer hats? I just bought the game, so I don't know if I'm late already.
Not that I want a casual mode, but I'm not that far in WS and I'm curious precisely how you'd compare the difficulty, because there are some parts of Mage Gauntlet where I simply couldn't ever 3star some areas and I never finished the Second Quest part of the game.
Kepa, please add a fixed analog stick for movement. I guess it's just personal preference, but I got so used to those that I fail horribly with your control schemes!
are you kidding! wonder what the issue is.... maybe the better you do the higher the chance of drops?
