Yeah you can buy passive upgrades such as more health which persist permanently but you lose active upgrades acquired through levels after death and completion of an area.
I actually hope they put ONE type of IAP in the game, and that's the "donate a dollar" IAP. If they truly keep the game updated with expansions, I'd love the option to be able to donate some more for it, to keep the dev making $.
Oh I know they will, but that doesn't give ME the option to thank them. I'd love that option to be in the game.
I think I've seen about 3 combined hours of gameplay footage, and this truly looks like a console-quality game. Easily worth more than 5 measly bucks. CANT WAIT.
@miroa and ScotDamn...thank you, that answers my question thoroughly and is a fine way of game progression
Each character has their own separate progression tracking. Gold and Hats earned are universal and can be used by any character.
No. You play with one character at a time. You have to play only that character dies. But, you can start a run and come back later. I forced close the app and it started where I left. But trust me, you will want to finish your run ;-)
There is no save slots. Each character have their own upgrades that are permanent. You use gold you earn when playing. When you die you have to start over but gold and the upgrades (character screen upgrades) are not lost. There are check points between the different chapters but thats it. TLDR.. You pick a character and play until you are dead, then get to choose a different character.
This is BRUTAL. I personally kinda struggle with moving and aiming using the left stick but attacking and using skills are flawless. Can't wait for controller support!
This is my most anticipated ios game of 2014. I really enjoyed their other titles, and this one has the most potential. Instant purchase.
i always loved to fight big ugly hard to kill pixel style bosses is sure not the ib good graphics but easy short trip demo style game and thats good!
I've been playing on my sisters ipad and I've compared WS to Mage a Gauntlet graphics. I'll be purchasing as soon as it is released on my device :3
HA! Tired. Perhaps of lesser games. WS will stand the test of iOS time! Edit: I've obsessively played this since I had the delicious opportunity to play it. It's actually hard to be productive. It has insane replay factor going for it.
