No... I tried and just lost some upgrades I'd got. You could give it a go. Didn't work for me though. Kepa has said he's working on it for the update. You can get a bunch of hats just by playing for now though. About the health, it seems to appear more for different characters. I've gotten a good handful and not played too much. None as certain characters though.
Guess who got lucky? Found my first ever health pot, guess what? Also found a second. Took 6 hours of play to find my first one, they're real rare. So darn addicting, grinding to beat the first boss still .. Lol <--- noob Edit: wow I couldn't beat The first boss with two health Pots either. Must have hit him 15-20 times. I'll keep coming Back for MOOOARRR!
Most annoying part of this game is that bosses don't have health meters. No idea how to tell if I'm making progress or not.
Second section, I just edited my post. Couldn't beat first boss with full health and 2 health pots. Lol!
I experience what some have been reporting - which is that the swipes dont register at times on the iPad (Mini). Not readily noticeable as they do trigger 60-70% of the time but still may bring down a run or so. Especially with the skills needing to be triggered at the right timing to be effective / efficient.
Some tips that might help if anybody is struggling. These might seem rhetorical, but they're necessary. General: Spoiler -Get to know how each enemy behaves. This means figuring out their attacks, how/if they can get knocked down, which one moves fast/slow, if they're a real threat or not, etc. -Figure out what enemies you're going to take out first before you enter a room. Break this rule when you have to. Here's the order in which I take down enemies for the most part: buffer posts (what drudges have), quick and weak physical attackers, summoners, weak spell-casters, strong spell-casters, strong physical attackers, resurrectors (I usually try to stun these or have them off the screen when I take down the others.) -Try to lure enemies out of trap rooms. There's usually more room outside of a trap room and you can take on fewer enemies at a time. -Use health potions right away if you have the four slots filled and can't pick up a useful spell/item. If you can replace a health potion in your inventory while on low/mid health, do so. Generally, using magic/items in a good spot will save you more hp than a potion ever will. -If you have full health when you find the stairs, explore a little if you haven't already. You might miss an emberforge, or some use items. -If you're low on hp and the game spawns you next to stairs on the next floor, don't hesitate to use them right away. If you have a decent amount of health, you might want to look around for an emberforge first. -Experiment with different upgrades. You'll be dying a lot, so feel free to mix and match. You might just end up dying less because of it. Warrior: Spoiler -Learn to use your shield. This is vital for getting anywhere with the warrior. Your shields are like an extra health bar, only they replenish 5X faster than your normal health bar does. As soon as anything dangerous is headed your way, toggle on your shield until you get a good chance to attack. I'd suggest the thorn shield upgrade as it's good at blocking both weapon and magic attacks and is also lightweight. -Know when to do a charge attack. Charge attacks work best on a bunch of low health enemies that can be one hit, or knocked down. Be cautious when using it on low health enemies mixed with stronger foes as the ones who survive can nick you pretty fast. I wouldn't suggest "upgrading" your sword as the normal one has the best power attack, in my opinion. -Use axes on magic users. Lots of magic casters only take one or two hit(s) with an axe to take down. The upgrade that allows you to hit three enemies with one axe is great for getting up to the boss. Mage: Spoiler -Keep your distance between enemies. -Start using your swipe abilities. You need to use these because when a group of monsters trap you in a corner or swarm you, your staff is just not going to cut it. -Upgrade both swipe abilities as soon as possible. My recommendation for ability upgrades is lightening for up swipe (a small but powerful bolt that shoots right in front of you) and rock for down swipe (rocks come up from the ground around you.) Almost all the mages abilities can be worth getting (I'd avoid wind for the most part, however.) -Using your swipe abilities replenishes your energy meter. When you're out of energy, waste a couple abilities if you have to. -Only use your charge shot on mobs. Your charge shot does less damage per enemy than your regular shot does. The only two weapon upgrades I believe are worth getting are the arcane staff (the one with the eye) and salamander breath (flame upgrade.) Rogue: Spoiler -Backstab whenever safe. Dashing behind an enemy's back will usually get you a couple backstabs. Don't go for backstabs when there's a giant mob in front of you. -Dashing is vital. You can go through magic, go far in little time, and also cancel the pause after your attack if done quickly enough. -Charge attacks stun most enemies. If you attack an enemy who's stunned, that hit is considered a backstab. Stun the annoying enemies and take out the easy ones while they're paralyzed. -Be wary of your energy meter. Because dashing will save your hide most often, you need to watch your energy meter before charging into a mob. If you're low, you won't be able to dash away from the mob if needed. -10 Second stealth potions make bosses easy. When in stealth mode, all your attacks are considered backstabs. Bosses will go down in less than ten seconds if used properly. -Use your items often. Because you have no swipe abilities other than to dash, you'll be receiving a lot of use items. Don't hesitate to use them when faced against a large amount of foes. -Flash bombs make you invisible to most enemies. Use the small ones to gain an advantage on your foes before walking into a room with tough enemies. You'll have one free backstab while doing so. You can also use these to stun enemies in close combat if needed.
Why did. You choose your name to be Savant. Does it have to do anything with the greatest Dubstep/ EDM producer ever Savant?
Did you also got the early buyer gift hat? Didn't get it. Now I see your loot I start to think that's a bug. I also got 1 (!) health potion in 2 hours and countless games. Any idea on this Kepa?
Swiping on the phone is very easy natural. The iPad controls which demand flicking feels forced because you have to flick real fast. It got me killed more than once because you have to flick so quickly, it feels forced opposed to the iPhone swiping.
Some enemies like the bulldozer guys see right through stealth though so it was a pain when I turned that on to run through a room of those and ended up dying.. great.
