Welcome to the club! I'm wondering how to survive against the second boss as a mage, but your achievement shows that it's do-able
Really? I found the second boss to be the easiest with the mage. She seems to do way more damage on bosses than the rest. Save your magic, use 2 on him when he first gets on the floor, then use the other 2 if there's a lot of mobs on the screen. Other than that, stay back and fire away!
I think it's just the random nature of the game. The number of creatures I kill varied wildly on my successful dungeon runs.
The Mage is actually a lot better than I expected. I just completed the second dungeon with her fairly easily, despite the fact that I never gave her any upgrades (all my money is still going to the Rogue). For the boss, I just stayed away from him and hit him with a power shot whenever I had one charged. I didn't bother attacking the other enemies at all, since Amaranth did a pretty good job of clearing them out on his own. EDIT: So, currently I have two characters in the Fallen Kingdom: a Mage with no upgrades, and a Rogue with every upgrade (except the Gift, which I'm saving up for). The Mage is actually doing better.
Well I just beat the first boss with the warrior then right after that did it with the adventurer! Awesome game man.
Kepa, awesome game! Do you think you could add call outs for the 4 boxes next to the Map on the pause screen? I know I'll get more familiar with them the more I play but it would be helpful. Thanks!
I haven't attempt the boss with mage yet. Just a general concern on her low health and lack of crowd control skills with bosses.
Yeah, the health is the biggest issue. The mage can actually gain some very handy crowd control abilities (one is like an earthquake on the downswipe, and another is a powerful lightening shot on the upswipe.) Too bad I didn't learn this until the last dungeon haha.
Luckily, crowd control doesn't really matter in that fight, because Amaranth has a tendency to charge straight through his own men and take them out for you.
Oh boy, one of my favorite hats from Mage Gauntlet! Speaking of hats, are they supposed to unequip between lives?
Where so you find hats? Made it to the first boss last night (the learning curve is there. Getting better ) bit on my way I checked everything. Every chest. No hats are there none in the first 5 floors?!?
wayward souls #10 on the app store for canada, wow I really hope this sells well so we can get updates! AWESOME GAME!
A message is supposed to pop-up at the character's selection after the tutorial. But, for some reason, it doesn't for plenty of us. Kepa is looking at it.
^^^ Someone answer this!! Maybe we are just very unlucky? Same with health potions. I find maybe.. One each 5 games?.. And they heal like 1/10th health, so they're pretty much useless atm
I've only played the first dungeon. Maybe 15 times on this device. Beaten it twice. Found a bunch of hats. Just keep playing, you'll find them. Some in chests, I got one in a really cool side quest scenario though. Either way you'll stumble across them after a little while.
Good to hear that lol. Yeah some of her crowd control skills are pretty good against normal mobs. But still. Squishy I remember getting my ass handed by those orcs in the first dungeon.
