Finally beaten labyrinth with the Warrior, got catacombs for Rogue, and then labyrinth for the rest. But beating it once I blame solely on Platinuming Bloodborne on PS4.
Yeah, though people find some classes easier than others. Submitting new update in about a week. Looks like it will mostly be some tweaks to the pets and getting the new quick-challenge mode in, aka Gauntlet Mode. Dropbox save support may or may not make it in, will keep everyone posted. Mostly the issue is it may be better to wait for the PC version to have it, so we could work on cross-platform save support at the same time. But will see! Pet tweaks off top of head: Cave Crab pet added. Raised chance of finding a pet per floor from 15% to 20%. Chance of getting the super rare pets raised from 2% to 4%. Slug max health increased lowered from 10 to 5 for the lower slug, 15 to 10 for the higher slug. Other maxhealth pets decreased similarly. Rat lootdrops buffed to 10% or 15%, depending on which one. Gnomey lootdrop raised to 20%. Cave Newt and Mine Bat lowered to 3 healthrecovery instead of 5. Fire Salamander and Duck lowered to 6 healthrecovery instead of 10. Some other stuff I'm forgetting.
Sounds awesome! I haven't even had time to play the pet update but it's a joy to hear everyone likes them! Edit: just played a game and found a nice little brown rat It scared me a few times because I'm used to everything that moves being harmful! Going to have to get used to that. I thought it would be nice if when you die/survive it said "yada yada yada with a ~pet's name~/[same as now if no pet]"! Thoughts? Also I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but I was playing with the warrior with the 'slow powerful axe' (not the leaping power attack one) and could store energy for a power attack without holding the screen, as in the warrior flashes blue (and if standing still holds the sword out) constantly until you tap attack, which launches a power attack. This is reproducible and can be done by holding and letting go of the attack 'button', but before you'd normally let go i.e. in between attacking and power attack. It doesn't do anything bad, really, but can mess up your tempo if you think you're about to do a power attack but just prepare for it instead.
Oh yeah and I had set a timer on my iPad and when it went off while I was fighting Amaranth the sound cut out. Just so you know! Ily
Got the pet bat and one floor later after getting it I'm dashing around trying to avoid it in a room full of bats haha. Reinstalled the game after playing it religiously to try out the new update. Has the game been updated to make the dungeons' bosses appear on earlier floors? Thought the 3rd boss appeared in the double digits and not on the 8th floor. I remembered thinking that I needed hourglasses to take out the 3rd dungeon boss but after I studied its attacks I realized it's not that difficult. Anyways, I love to see that the game is still getting updates.
Yeah that happens sometimes, though the sound code is kind of wonky on our end so it's a persistent bug. No matter what your weapon is, the time it takes to charge up a power attack remains the same right now. That's what's causing the above. It doesn't seem too disruptive, though, so we just let it be. Will think about the pet tombstone thing! I don't think we changed anything, there. If I remember right, really early on, Catacombs used to be one floor longer? Though I could be remembering it wrong. I don't think we made any recent adjustments, anyway.
I actually can't answer this one unfortunately.. since I never made it that far to see teleporters until recently :\ Yes the 3rd dungeon is that hard for me
Hi Kepa, I just encountered a crash with Spellsword in endless mode which seems quite random, and I've tried to send a bug report to your email. Please let me know if that's the appropriate bug report.
Try playing conservatively! There's more of them than you, so keep your wits about you. Resist the urge to get in one more hit and regroup instead.
It was, responded to it. Not sure what that crash is about, heard reports on it but it's even less clear than the teleporter crash for iOS8.
Wow! Just got the Rocketcat pet, and its super cute. +5% crit chance and it occasionally attacks enemies with a "heavy pounce." However, there seemed to be some sort of issue with this pet, because I never saw it attack an enemy even once throughout 10 floors in the labyrinth. It didn't even flash like it was preparing to attack like the puppy and the sprite do... I'm wondering, is this an actual bug or am I just missing something?
Woops. Added that fix to the update submitted tonight. Hopefully it works now. Full changelog, with some surprises: - New mode! Gauntlet Mode is a 6 floor dungeon that's designed to be quick to play, but extremely difficult. - You can now unlock classes by finding chests in Mines/Tower/Catacombs, instead of having to beat each area. This is to help people that get stuck. The amount of chests required are 30/50/70. - Pet added: Cave Crab. - Pets have a 20% chance per floor, up from 15%. - Rare pets have a 4% chance to be found, up from 2%. - Bugfix for Rocketcat not attacking. - Fix for text after beating Labyrinth. - Rat Buffs: %5/10 lootfind upped to 10% and 15%. - Slug nerfs: 10/15 +maxhealth lowered to 5 and 10. - Slimespawn reduced to 5 maxhealth, buff duration stays the same. - Chatterpile to +10 health instaed of +15. - Silken Spider up to 7% lootdrop, runspeed is the same. - Gnomey to 20% lootdrop, coindrop still at 25%. - Cave Newt and Mine Bat to 3 +healthrecovery instead of 5. - Fire Salamander and Duck to 6 +healthrecovery instead of 10. - Spellsword weapon upgrades now properly have their charge attack phase through spells. - Skull's fireball AOE subtracts an attack charge for every shot rather than every hit. This applies to other attack pets too.
