@oscar123967: Does that mean you get +5 more health per completed floor? I got a brown rat in my Labyrinth run with an effect that I'm not sure of. I think I got a lucky black chest that contains two items inside.
It means you heal up more (+5) after you've completed the floor. Your total health doesnt increase. I think that means you'll have increased odds of finding more coins/masks
after one year of not playing at all, it feels so good to be back, with the familiar music in the dungeons btw, Joey Grady's album was my first purchase on bandcamp last year, gave him double the asking price for a job well done As for this game.. best 5 euro i ever spent!
I can't remember her last name, but Andrea, who provided the music for Mage Gauntlet, did an amazing job with the music for that game too. If you like Joey Grady's WS soundtrack, the MG soundtrack is an absolute must-listen.
Question: Is there a "pet inventory" somewhere where you can see which pets you've found, like a collection list? Or do you just find them, use them for that run, and that's it?
Seems to be the latter. Which is a bummer as I was hoping for an inventory like the hats but I guess that would throw the balance off too much.
It's so warming to see the game that was released 2 years ago updated with new content. I have it since day one, and still enjoing it A LOT. I'm not playing it on daily basis like I used to. But if sombody new asking for cool iOS games, some good premium games or rouglike-ish games - it's on my list. This game just never leaving my phone. Thanks, RC games. P.S.: I'm still thinking about "spooky dancing skeletons" petition.
Shit. I would only want a list that shows which of the 29 pets you have discovered before, not a list of pets to pick from at my leisure. Just as one more incentive for completionists (like myself) to keep coming back. Kind of disappointing if this isn't included, but oh well.
Exactly the same here. One of if not the only game that STAYS on my devices no matter what. It's at the top of the list of best iOS games, no doubt. Giddy with excitement about this new update!
Thanks for the kind words everyone! Don't forget to rate the game on the App Store, too. It's kind of annoying that every update clears all our hard earned ratings. I believe the healthrecovery pets also increase the amount of health you get from potions, too. Though I'd need to check that. The Pigs and some other pets increase your coin amount, the Rat doesn't. The rats give you a chance to get double drops from enemies and crates. So you could get two throwing axe ammo bundles or two spellsword scroll drops, as examples. The rate seems a little low right now, so we'll buff that a little in the next update. Both soundtracks are really good. Andrea also did the recent Five Card Quest music. Yeah we made pets not permanent as partially a balance issue, but mostly just so that they could be kept as a rare, kind of mysterious thing. Thanks! Yeah there's more updates coming, too. Probably a couple more before we FINALLY STOP with content updates. Please don't sign the spooky dancing skeletons petition that forces us to update WS until we're spooky dancing skeletons. Oh, I see. That would be pretty cool, actually. I'll put that in the queue for the team, but I'm not sure if we'll get to it before we're done with all the content updates.
Hey Kepa, just encountered the teleported crash. Running iOS 8.1 on iPad Air 2. Can I send you a crash log somehow?
Sure, by support email. We figured out the crash only happens on iOS 8 (updating fixes it), though still haven't figured out why it happens or a fix. It also just goes away sometimes, really weird.
Would love to see that, thanks for taking it into consideration. Loving the update, leaving an App Store review now!
Sorry if this has already been discussed but is there a story mode/campaign in the current version of the game? I saw in the upcoming updates section there was mention o the eventual new class paladin having his own story mode to play through but I wasn't sure if that was something exclusive to that character and update or for all of the characters including the currently playable ones.
All the different characters currently have their own stories, with endings and character specific special encounters and so on. The Paladin gets his own story too, but the special thing about his story mode is that he will get his own special difficulty mode beyond what anyone else will get. Mostly because he's the very last character you unlock, but also partially because he's pretty overpowered. At least on paper, we need to test him more. The only non-story mode is Endless Mode right now, though I also want to add a full new mode called Gauntlet Mode. Gauntlet Mode will be really short, but at the maximum difficulty with new AI added to all the bosses to PUMP UP THE DIFFICULTY of them. This will likely be the focus of the next update.
