Sorry I know nothing about the 'around' section, for there's not even one person in my listÂ… there are 2 who reached floor 999 in my 'all' section tho
Do you think they hacked? Surely nobody has THAT much skill, or luck, to get that far. Nobody else has come even close.
Idk, I believe one of them is Quazonk, and he talked about that run at #3844 in this thread, maybe he did do it
Haha someone cue up one of those memes with a slovenly, obese 90's PC gamer dressed in a Darth Vader mask in his underwear raising a plastic lightsaber with the caption "It is I, The Great One!" Man I've truly got the most bang for my buck out of this app than from anything else in my library. I'm pretty stoked for the Paladin update in January, this is one of those games where I can leave it on the shelf for a while and then get totally re-immersed in it whenever I pick it back up again, and there'd be no better reason than a whole new character to do it all with again.
This is completely arbitrary and YMMV based on your style of play, but my "most favourite to least favourite" list is as follows: 1: Warrior 2: Cultist 3: Spellsword 4: Adventurer 5: Rogue 6: Mage If the Paladin truly controls and behaves the same way in the upcoming update as he did when you get to use him for a couple of minutes at the beginning of the game, then consider the Paladin to be either #1 or #2 on my list. Again, you might think the Mage is the best and the Warrior sucks, it all depends on how you approach the game.
Still looking for Testflight people that are getting crashes in Catacombs. No one's checked the possible fix for it yet. Great, I'll check it out soon! Thanks! Paladin update may be in February actually, though we'll have an update in January, also. Paladin will play pretty similar to the tutorial Paladin, except it'll take both upgrades to reach his full power for a weapon instead of just one upgrade.
Should be submitting an update this week that will show up in January. Pets will be in, and it looks like we may be able to get in a new game mode but not sure about that yet. Also, we still need someone with the teleporter crashing issue to check out our Testflight build, so we know if our fix works or not. We've gotten a few people to sign up for it, but then we never hear from them again.
Update! Great! Sorry to hear about the test flight thing. Sorry that I never have that glitch (should I be?) so I can't help. Maybe you should just ask them about it?
I second that! Me too. Me neither. Yeah Kepa maybe you could send out a 'friendly reminder email' to the testers to send feedback or something...
Yeah some of the testers came back with some prodding. I think the crash problem may be related to iOS 8. Has anyone had a teleporter crash that isn't on iOS 8? We ended up having to submit the update on the 30th because the iTunes store closed for the holidays. I forgot about it. Here's the changelog: - Major new feature: Pet system! You now have a small chance of finding different pets in the dungeon. Some pets attack, some provide stat bonuses. - New sprites and animations for the different pets. - Testing a better animation system with more frames for walk animations. Using the pets to test them for now, let us know what you think! - Tweaks and fixes. - New rare content and rooms added. There's 29 pets in the game now. Some attack, like there's a sprite pet that gets to shoot a firebolt at an enemy for every 50 damage you do. It's pretty handy. Stat buffs include max health increase, runspeed, gold drop increase, loot drop increase (chance for two scrolls or ammo items to drop), critical hit chance, buff duration, energy regeneration, health regeneration on going downstairs, and combinations of those. There's also super rare pets like one that shoots a fireball, Gnomey (THE Gnomey), and Sonic the Hedgehog. Chance is 15% per floor to find a pet cage, and a 2% chance that pet will be super-rare. The first pet you find is a simple one, and the second is always a more advanced version of the first tier. More updates are coming, including the Paladin update and a new mode. We're shooting for doing an update a month (roughly) until the PC version is out. The Paladin update may be the last major update, and by that point the game would be out for nearly two years and still getting content updates.
I mentioned this is the Five Card Quest thread, but these updates sound the good kind of sick. Keep rocking it, Rocketcat! EDIT: I'll be playing this nonstop until I find THE Gnomey pet. Now it's on.
