Health drops are very rare. You can invest in acquiring health between floors with a passive upgrade.
What about an alternate control option with buttos. Is that something you guys would consider? Ideally an option just to add the buttons (without the green virtual analog stick).
Has anyone beat the first mini boss on the 5th floor on the Cursed Hollows level yet? The boss has a lot of health I guess and he's pretty quick with his projectile attack.. I'm using the warrior right now so any advice would be appreciated! Thanks a lot!
for now i played the first dungeon(5floors) with all character classes so i can upgrade their passive skills also played and finished the second one just with warrior. the dificulty is between easy-normal somewhere ... maybe a mini-map in the right-down corner? is not nedeed anyway 'cos the dungeons are not that big and i use it just once every floor, but if any big dungeons comes in future updates a mini-map option will be good happy to know will be added a harder one, hope it will be a big dungeon too thanks for info
Be ready to throw your shield up when you're close in. But also see how when he stomps and jumps, there are marks to dodge. I didn't see these the first couple of times against him. The Warrior is the easiest chracter to get through him, and most of the game thanks to his shields. But the rogue can kill him pretty easily in under 20 seconds, for the achievement. Just slide and backstab the hell outta him.
I'm fine with no buttons but would welcome a sensitivity adjuster for movement (would be especially useful for the iPad). It might be a pain to implement at this point, though...
Yeah. Pigs are flying out of my ass right now, drinking coffee across the table too. Easy to normal my a$$.
Awesome review from Pocket Gamer http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPad/Wayward+Souls+%28formerly+Wayward+Saga%29/review.asp?c=59175 Totally deserve it!!!!! Cannot say anything about this game... Or maybe i can.. This is ''THE'' game... Graphics, Music, Balance, Animation, Gameplay... oh my oh my!!!!!!! My only tiny complain is that as a lot of people here already said.. on iPad the swipe mechanics are a little bit off.. On my iPhone works brilliant but on my iPad not so good.. You have to make a very fast swipe to catch it.. Anyway... back on the dungeons Edit: Also not big deal and more for the devs to keep record: iPhone 5s latest iOS + iPad Air latest iOS not early adopters hats and not even one on chests after 3 hours of playing... If could be that matter (i don't think so) the language on my devices is regional, not English (US).
There's a short encounter with slimes in there at 2:52. I'm in the zone for the most part then I totally get demolished in the end since I don't know what the boss does yet.
I agree. To me, this game deserves perfect scores across the board. I can't say I've ever been this into and engaged with any other iOS. I've played hundreds. WS is much more than an action game. Much more than some standard action RPG, it's totally skill based and will hopefully make waves in the iOS market. I usually don't speak so highly of games but WS deserves the props.
Yeah we'll do something about the iPad sensitivity. Maybe just an "IPAD SENSITIVITY" on/off button in options.
the key to get/find hats from chests is: replay every floor at least 3-4times. i found 6hats till now and all came from the zones where are lots of enemys, i think the chest that drops hats has a skull on it. the funniest is the rocketcat hat : )
So true. Easily my favorite IOS game of 2014 so far. And when 2014 includes Monument Valley and Jet Car Stunts 2, that's saying something And seriously, has PG ever given anything else a Platinum?
You know, the only thing I could think about the first time I fired up the game was "Game of the Year material", so it's not surprising to see this get full scored reviews. Well deserved.
