Wayward Souls should be $7 now. Pricing experiment is doing really well so far, will have a better idea of how it did overall in a couple of weeks. Yeah it's the spiders. We may give them new AI later, right now they're pretty similar to dogs. I'm not sure if the spider-casters show up yet, either. I know the art is in for them, as they were originally in the game in the beginning, they just got cut. Yeah we need to do the health regen penalty thing, because otherwise it's not very competitive. Will likely keep potions, though, MAYBE potions will get rarer as you descend. Oh, and the scoreboards will definitely get cleared whenever we do these changes heh.
Hm. How come every once in a while, when I boot up the game, it starts me off in the introduction level? Is it because I have repeat story on?
I saw some small spiders and a somewhat bigger spider. I don't recall what the bigger spider actually did, if anything, within the time it was alive.
Looks like we're doing a small update before the PC update. Thinking of: - Possibly one new dungeon, probably just a "quick play" mode. 6 levels, with all the bosses and everything. Debating whether to do this or not. - Cloud save support. Maybe iCloud? Was going to do dropbox instead but don't know enough about it. - Rogue Hush Slippers changed. They'll give you X seconds of stealth whenever you kill a tough enemy. - Rogue Black Cat Braces changed. They'll give you X seconds of stealth whenever you get hit. - Probably buffing Rogue Toadskin Cowters to work if you're hit while invulnerable (huge buff to this). - Adventurer Zephyr boots finally working right, they should burn enemies you pass through. - Adventurer Tamed Sprite doing damage to enemies when you get it out. - Adventurer lantern upgrades doing a tiiiiny bit more damage. - Fixes to Endless Mode: It's supposed to get harder to regen health as you get deeper. We'll clear the scoreboard, too. - "Moonwalking" controller bug fix. - iOS 8 support. - Possible fun new support codes. - Some new CHEEVOS If you have any requests, now's a good time to say.
I did say you should go with iCloud just put a warning or something that sometimes iCloud may have problems and delete your data to avoid any rage post Also kepa I was thinking could be possible to have a skins for every main character? Let's say after you finish the 3 main dungeons for example The warrior could get a skin to play as his brother The rogue could have the skin of the guy (don't remember the name at the time) The Mage could have his sister skin ( I like most the sister look) The adventurer could have the skin of that old Mage And so on it shouldn't be that hard since the models are already in
If you're going to use iCloud, make it manual please (the user has to upload the save data to the cloud and download it from the cloud manually, for example from the options menu). Otherwise it will only give problems to the user, like data loss and such.
The models would need lots of new animations though, since it's a 2d game and everything would have to be redrawn. Cool idea, but too much work for us for the payoff. Yeah, we're doing it that way to try to avoid mysterious data loss.
50/50 chance of us doing the quick play mode, because some players don't like the idea much. "Kind of pointless if there's no new enemies/tilesets". I see their point. But others like the idea, so we'll see.
then how about something like this Since i dont know how many bosses are in the game apart from the 3 main ones instead of a quick play mode could be something like time attack 3 huge floors with one boss each with a timer and using a Leaderboards like the endless Since the skins it would be to much work how about instead having the changes the forge do to the armors available like a color customization
Well, looks like this will be the first game on the app store to have IOS 8 support! Yay!! P.S: I am getting an iPhone 6 Plus with IOS 8 of course.
It's sort of similar to a boss rush, where I get to fight the bosses again quickly, so I think it sounds worth putting in. (I figured I might as well say why I like it... I'm not trying to be annoying repeating myself. )
Yeah, usually happens after a long period of not playing. I boot up the game, play a couple of floors, pause and force close the app, come back a couple hours later, when I boot it up it starts up the intro level and senda me to the main menu. I still have all my coins, characters, and upgrades though. iPhone 5s 7.1.2
Quick mode would be awesome if it was timed! Could result in a really cool leaderboard (that I would never appear on). Also, don't know if this was mentioned, but with the last update I'm seeing a bug where the screen will flip at random moments and I seem to lose control. It's never for more than 2-3 seconds, but sometimes that's enough to end a game. I normally play with the screen flipped from its original orientation (so headphone jack is on right - 4S). It's not a big deal, just wanted to let you guys know, if you don't already. Love love love this game.
