That, and I love having a couple of characters (Rogue and Spellsword in particular) that get an item every time you find a chest, instead of there being a shield/swipe attack in most of the chests.
Just the dash, two abilities would be a huge redesign.[/QUOTE] Ah alright. Was hoping for a seondary skill like an up swipe move with the dash being down swipe. Another random question for you. The little mini ghost cutscenes that appear in the game as little story bits, what chance do they have of appearing on any given floor? The storyline is intruiging and Ive only seen a few. Recent one was of a mage picking up new hats for banes xD Oh and since Im an android user,I was curious.is mage gauntlet going to be ported to android as well? Apologies for all the questions im sure youve heard before. Just was unable to find answers in the thread so i figured would be best to ask directly.
Is the endless dungeon basically the 4th dungeon but for the people who can beat it? Endless is basically the 4th dungeon for me, as I can't get no where near the end.
Speaking of Mage Gauntlet, I finally picked that up and the separate dash button (instead of swipe) is really messing with me. Can't imagine using that method in WS. Am I just missing a menu tweak or does the WS control represent an evolution that was never reverse engineered into MG?
Hrmm. Does anyone have any tips for beating fallen kingdom as blythe? Best ive done is floor 6 with him. Not sure what it is but have yet to be able to pass that floor.
Mage Gauntlet for Android is this month I think? Noodlecake Games is doing the port, of course. I can't remember how rare the story bits are. They're fairly rare is all I know off the top of my head, heh. Endless Dungeon is a new dungeon you get in the next update, for having survived the third dungeon. It goes to the maximum difficult starting on floor two, and has no ending in sight. It also has a new Gamecenter scoreboard. Haha good to hear that you like the swipe better. The controls weren't reverse engineered into MG from WS, no. What we'll likely do is improve our control scheme in the Zelda-style game that's being worked on right now. The main improvement we're thinking of: adding way more customization. Like you'll be able to switch between buttons and swipes if you want, adjust sensitivity using sliders, stuff like that. When that is out, we'll likely add it to WS and maybe MG in updates. Oh, any requests for controls customization, while I'm thinking about it?
Pardon my absence, but having switched back to Android, I've been unable to keep up with the progress of this game. I realize that Noodlecake Games has "ported" this to Android, but I haven't picked it up yet. The last time I was able to play it, was before the "big update", the one that added the 4th(?) area, near the games launch. How far along is the Android version in terms of updates? What big things have been added, and how far behind are the updates for the Google Play Store version, from the iOS version. Thanks!
As much as I in principle want more of everything of good things, my most requested feature for the rogue would be to have her dash in the direction of my swipe. But perhaps that would make evasion too powerful.
Having the rogues dash follow the swipe would be interesting and possibly somewhat nice. I have noticed I mess up the dash due to what way renee is facing lol. Another option for customization would be to switch the side of screens e.g. right hand moves left hand attacks and dash on the screen. Might be preferable to some players. . . I would love to see an option to customize the location of the hp and dash bar myself.
Had given up on this game, but will start playing again. Have every character up to the Catacombs but was never able to get past the 4th floor. Was just never able to get good at this dungeon.
New update is "Processing for App Store". Should be out either tonight or tomorrow. Price raises to $7 USD on Monday. We send out the updates to Noodlecake ahead of time, so the Android updates usually come out just a little after the iOS ones. We avoided doing this because it felt weird given that some characters have one ability, and some have two. And some of the two ability characters can get a dash, too. So I'd be playing the Adventurer with Zephyr boots and swiping the wrong way. We may look into this as an option in a game where characters only have one ability, not two. Ability use in forward direction vs Ability use in swipe direction. UI customization is a good idea too, yeah. Rogue and Adventurer got a little stronger. Oh, and Saint Statues actually show up in the dungeons now. So as a result, you have a chance for a lucky run where you can run into the buff statues on multiple floors in a row.
KEPA!!! Release the update!! Go go go go fight fight fight! EDIT: Five minutes later, it's OUT!! Nice work, Rocketkepa.
The update is live in Canada! Ho-ly does the difficulty ever ramp up in endless mode! Huge rooms full of loads of monsters, spawners, "healer/revivers", the whole bit. I'm currently on floor 5 on my first run and the difficulty is so cruel, I actually felt compelled to switch apps to come here and talk about it lol.
Wow this update is gigantic! I'm excited. I went on hiatus after the Catacombs kicked my butt. Will try again. So I guess the Crusader isn't coming anytime soon since it wasn't mentioned in this update or the next one?
Now I feel left out lmao. Alas, I must wait fot Google Play to update it. Sounds interesting so far. Whats renees new updated skill?
I'm interested to see how far people get in Endless. Are the scoreboards working ok? Was worried about those. Paladin isn't coming until the update we release alongside the PC version. Rogue's Fake Out ability got updated. When you dash through an enemy for the first time, you place a decoy of yourself down from where you dashed from. This can be upgraded to last up to 0.8 seconds. We might make it a full second later, we're just being cautious because she's still getting a couple more buffs in the next update.
