Okay, so the $5k upgrade (that I'm actually working toward buying right now) that benefits all classes. Thanks.

Yes sir you are correct. The upgrades are small, but you do notice yourself getting considerably "luckier" after they're all upgraded.

The monster type of each wave is based off what wave it is. Off top of head you get easy early game stuff in the first couple waves, then Tower stuff, then Gold stuff, and then it just throws everything it can at you.

I really want to do a shorter mode that ends with a special version of this fight that has DOUBLE HEALTH and starts at the "screw you" wave types haha.

Update news: Controller support is taking longer than we thought, we we'll probably cut a bunch of other stuff to get the update out early. So controller support, endless mode, and then probably one other big feature that we're aiming for like maybe save syncing? Not completely sure. We'll do an Update 2.5 afterwards that will have stuff in here that we missed, but I think splitting it up is a good idea.

Thanks for the update. Does this mean boss healthbars are being pushed off? It really sucks fighting a boss over and over without at least being able to learn what scrolls, etc. are most effective or how close you're getting to actually taking the f'er out!

Shouted 'YESSS!!' when I finally found the Seeker Guise earlier today. Because that's my name.

Speaking of which, does one of the wikis have a list of where each/all of the hats can be found? I have 159 now and know there are over 200—it'd be nice to know which dungeons to concentrate on for hat farming. Thanks in advance for any info.

All of the enemy hats (Miner's Hardcap - Chatter Mask in the list) are found in the dungeon containing those enemies, usually in rooms specific to their theme. I don't know if there are any special restrictions on where the others can appear, although I've generally found them in thematically appropriate areas (Baron Hair in the Tower, Tetramont Tiara in a golem room, etc).

The Labyrinth is by far the best for hat farming, though, since I think every hat can appear there (excluding Gnomey's Pointy Cap) and the drop rate is really high. I was getting 4-5 hats per run until I got them all, and that's not even including the guaranteed hat chests you get after each of its bosses. I suppose you could also try the Mines, since you can run through it pretty quickly and get a free hat for beating Humphrey.

After going through the Labyrinth a couple times, I agree that the fire traps need tweaking. Some setups are literally impossible to get by without getting hurt. Also, it's misleading that they have a static hitbox that just activates the whole length as soon as it's triggered. It'd make more sense if the hitbox extended out dynamically with the tip of the flame. Same with the gargoyles flame jet attack. I don't know how hard that would be to implement, however.

Most likely pushed off to Update 2.5 unless we can slip them in really fast.

Very difficult to truly fix like you're saying. Instead, we're just making the timing more generous in this upcoming update. The hitboxes will still be wonky, but maybe the timing change will make it ok at least.

Really hope this makes it in the update. It strikes me as so much higher priority than controller support. The number of controllers in use is surely quite small compared with the number of households that have an iPad.

    Ah, okay.

This might be a little late, but the Rogue is much easier to play as now. That +2 damage to her base attack sure made a difference.

JackMule, you haven't done any silver videos, right? Can't find a Mage-Baron fight.

No, I haven't, and won't, uploaded any Silver play-throughs. I'm uploading a Mage Diamond run today (maybe Rogue as well) and there's an Amaranth fight in the video.

It really does. She may end up being one of the strongest characters after all her changes are done. Still have to revamp Fake Out, and still have to change some of her items like Hush Slippers and Black Cat Braces.

Yeah I agree, it's just that Apple is really pushing controller support right now because it's newer. That's why we made it a priority.

Bump+ i am amazed at how many ppl are able to use Rogue effectively. I just can't understand how to make it work.
I also reevaluated Adventurer, he's weaker than i thought.
Can't wait for tweaks and stuff, i want to go back to it!

Only character I find weak myself is the Mage, and that's most likely a matter of me not mastering her play style yet. I have yet to get the Cultist though, but from what I hear she's a beast.

I feel like they're all pretty well balanced.

Even most items or upgrades people find useless are a matter of preference, hell, I have multiple load outs it prefer with every character and they all drastically change how I use the individual character.
