I once played without internet connection and got some achievements. These were registered in the game but not in Gamecenter. Next time I played with internet connection but achievements weren't updated to Gamecenter. Is there a way to still get the achievements updated to GC? I tried to repeat the achievement requirement but this didn't work, I guess, because it is already registered in the game and thus doesn't trigger.
Specifically, you can start at any unlocked dungeon for the character in question. And on a related note, forge upgrades do not carry over to the next dungeon, so you don't have to start from an earlier dungeon to have the most advantage. Pro swipe in this and Mage Gauntlet is my favorite type of virtual analog stick ever. Like the analog stick is wherever my thumb is. I can't miss it. It's practically perfect.
Do the swipe upgrades for certain characters that give "increased critical chance" only apply to the swipe move? Do some of them apply to regular attacks and some to only the swipe move? Example: The mage has one for the flamethrower (up swipe) and one for the gust of wind (down swipe). The wind doesn't do much damage, does it? So that's why I ask. Also, I think the wording of them sort of implies that the flames get more critical and the wind upgrade gives more critical in general... And how much chance do each of the critical chance equipments give, anyway?
Wondering that, did a test, seems to affect both special attacks and normal attacks by about 5-10ish percent?, but can't be sure as I may have just gotten lucky
Coming when they have time. @oscar123967, I play on an iPhone 5. I generally don't use headphones, but when I do, I don't have much issue with it because I guess I don't hold the phone quite like you do? The headphone cable goes right between my middle and ring finger.
I've beaten all dungeons with all chars, and I think base adventurer is 2nd worst. But when you get good upgrades (shield, sunnebrand, amulet of the unseen), adventurer is second only to cultist in my opinion
Will pass it along. I think it's like how it is simply because it works on all screens, though. We support some really old devices. This usually fixes itself. Not sure if there's anything we can do about it. It's always to all attacks, including the normal attack. I decided we'd never actually have free time to do this, so recently I hired some contractors to finally do that for me. Not sure when they'll be done, should be pretty soon though. Off top of head, it's 4%/7% depending on tier.
Widescreen Mage Gauntlet is the answer to my prayers. So what happens when you have collected all the hats? Do "doubles" keep popping up, or do coins just come out?
Haha thanks one of the things WS did for me was completely ruin MG with its pure awesomeness and widescreenness
All right, thanks. Awesome! It's happening! I suppose I should ask... What about an option for Wayward Souls controls? I would prefer to use the swipe to dash like in this, if it gets added. *shrug* It's not that big a deal if it doesn't happen.
Not soon, but maybe. What we might end up doing is 1. Brandon (RC artist) is going to make a Zelda-y spinoff of Wayward Souls. Exploring a non-random area, finding items to open new areas, more exploration focused than combat focused. 2. This Zelda-y game will have options for both swipey controls like WS and button controls like MG. This would be for using the items you equip, so two item slots and you can assign any item to the up/down button/swipe. I'd also like the do more controls customization in general, like sensitivity sliders and button position customization. 3. If the above works well, I might have that team add these options to both MG and WS. MG would get the swipe-to-dash, WS would get a button option.
When you say spinoff do you mean spinoff like same type of thing with a focus on exploring or more of a new test game?
Make this a reality! So many developers have tried their hand at "Zelda-y" games, and come up short. You guys already seem to have the fundamentals of the formula down-pat. I'd love to see this.
Sorry, what I meant was: Are you making the same sort of game, same controls, same art, same kind of thing, but with a focus on exploration and with no random generation, or are you making a new kind of game with just the same controls?
