I've spent about 220 hours on this one now. Definitely without a doubt the greatest iOS game ever at this point
Is there a way to check how much time you've spent playing the game? I'd love to know how much I've spent.
I was playing before and I was having trouble scrolling through the hats screen as it's quite small, even on an iPad screen, so would it be possible to make it bigger so there are more on the screen at once? That would be cool for the next update.
On which device does this play better control-wise? iPhone or iPad? I prefer playing "deep" quality games on the iPad when possible...
I am playing the game and until now i can not go far from 4 floor until i die. Then i start from the beginning.Where can i find checkpoints in this game?
Since the update I'd say the controls work equally well on iPhone and iPad. I much prefer it on iPad though just because it's much easier to see everything.
You don't have to complete the whole game with one life, but you do need to complete individual dungeons with one life. Once you've completed a dungeon with a character, the next dungeon unlocks for that character. You can start from the highest unlocked dungeon when you die.
Out of curiosity, what control scheme do you guys use? I personally use the analog stick since its static, and I'm use to having that. And what orientation? I use left since I usually play with headphones on, and the headphone jack fits properly between middle finger and pointer finger, instead of having it stab against my palm (playing on iPhone). Though notifications do get annoying lol.
Where: Spoiler once you beat the gold dungeon, you'll be introduced to a credits level. How to: Spoiler All the way at the bottom left of the level, there will be a room full of mobs. Kill them and you'll reach another room with locked chest. If you look at the southern wall in that room you'll see a breakable door. Break it, save the gnome thats trapped, and open the chest
Beat the gold dungeon. Also, @oscar123967, I use pro swipe and my screen orientation is right. I used to use fixed movement controls way back when Mage Gauntlet was new but I switched to pro swipe I think when I got my current phone (and didn't have my save data cause I'm bad). I got used to it pretty quickly and I really like it.
Yeah I see more people using the pro swipe. Maybe because it gives instant feedback when swiping towards another direction, while with the joystick it'll take a few more milliseconds because you have to move your thumb across an axis before it registers as a movement. I guess I'll give pro swipe another shot. But its hard to get use to lol. My thumb ends up all over the screen when I'm using it. And do you play on iPad or iPhone? I'm trying to get use to playing with right orientation lol, but my headphone jack is annoying! It feels like I'm going to break it lol
