To the second update. Hotfix submitted this morning. You'll get the badge for beating the new dungeon after that, and also you can disable the automatic flip. The autoflip will always be pretty janky just due to how old the engine is.
I wasn't giving much expectation to this game, cuz it looks like another typical RPG from the last century. But once I got into the battle, the attacking pattern of the minions really amazed me, good job for making every battle challenging. However, the game seems not be able to recognize my swipe gestures, swiping up or down only succeed half of the time, and that does bother me to the point of almost giving up. Maybe my iphone screen has lost sensitivity, but hey, I still play Infinity Blade 3 a lot without any such problems. As much as I appreciate more idevice integrated gesture control, could you give an alternative botton-based control mode for right hand, too?
This... I think the Adventurer needs the most attention for the next update. I'm not exactly sure how to change him really, but for now he's levels below the rest of the characters and I can't put my finger on why exactly? Is it his sword? His up or down swipes? I dunno it could even be his upgrades or items... Just feel like he's missing something... Still can't beat the gold dungeon with him( not even close where as I can pretty easily beat it with all the other characters even the Rogue now) While all the other characters are pretty much unique for the most part..The adventurer still feels like a weaker version of the Warrrior.(Like I said before he has two forge upgrades that just puts him on par with what the Warrior has with the long sword and Shield...that alone should say something)
I beat gold with Adventurer on the second or third try, meanwhile having to go through multiple times for Mage and Rogue. Probably just not your playstyle? His lantern neutralizies magic attacks and his stun is pretty invaluable. Plays completely differently from other classes imo.
Yeah I'm with rpgman, I find the Adventurer to be at least average strength overall. I haven't beaten gold with him yet but have gotten very close. Haven't even made the eighth floor yet though with either rogue or cultist, they seem weaker/trickier to use to me. Just play style maybe.
I take back what I said about the Adventurer. With a level II Sunnebrand, Amulet of the Unseen, and Orvar's Shield, he can just dash straight into the middle of large clusters of enemies, deal massive damage while they're stunned, and quickly restore all of his dash charges thanks to the enhanced drop rate. On top of that, he can block attacks like the Warrior and can regain half of his health bar every floor. I'm not entirely sure what happened here, but I think Cyril destroyed the shadow so hard that it forgot how to speak. EDIT: And now I completed the Labyrinth with the Warrior as well. He was my last character, and I have all the hats, so I think I've finally run out of things to do. I suppose I can try to document the new/rare enemy types on the wiki.
I am going to be getting an iPad Mini soon, but I already have an iPod with this game, so does this game have cloud saves so I can resume with the same progress that I have on my other device or will I have to start over?
Still trying to beat the first boss here. I've seen players talking about collecting and switching hats. I've got 2 hats so far, and wearing it seems only change my character's look...
Gotta say that when this first came out I wasn't too into it. I was expecting more of a dungeon crawler type game. But after the recent update I've been playing quite a bit. Really enjoying what you've got going on here Kepa, keep up the good work.
Hats each do their own special thing, only it's your skill that wins the battle. So the hats are very subtle.
Yeah I've noticed the same thing. It's much more sensitive than other apps, and even seems to flip when my iPad isn't flat at all. At least it's easy to work around though, by just bringing up control center and locking rotation.
Just want to say I'm very happy with the controls now on iPad. The high sensitivity setting works much better than before for the swipe controls. I'm also happy that notifications aren't popping up at the bottom of the screen. Just make the screen flipping a little less sensitive and it'll be perfect.
That joke is more confusing than funny. Hats only change your looks. Several people said the same thing. The update is submitted:
