The icon for this game sucks. Please change it. I mean, wtf does the icon have to do with this game? Three random characters? Lame! Make it EPIC! Just like the game!
Looks like I've reached the boss rush section, and got a rare hat chest from Humphrey. SO MANY HATS. EDIT: And I died, on floor 16. Still, I got 5 hats in a single run.
It's not really a straight boss rush. There are one or two Mines floors leading up to Humphrey on floor 15, followed by some Tower floors presumably leading to Amaranth, and so on. It also gives you Humphrey's backstory in a cutscene after you beat him, and probably does so for the other bosses as well.
I like the icon. It used to be of the tower or mask but the characters are cooler. Maybe at some point we'll change them to the other 3 characters or the Paladin. Yeah. It'll go up again for Updates 2 and 3. Those are all the major planned ones, may do some smaller updates between that won't raise the price.
Yeah the icon kicks ass. After getting used to not accidentally pulling up the control center, the screen flipping bug went away. I've actually gotten farther now than I ever have. Awesome update.
Made it to the 18th floor this time. I had an hourglass too, so I almost certainly would have cleared floor 19 as well if I had made it there. Still getting tons of hats in this dungeon.
The 1.1 update shows on the app profile page in the App Store but it only gives me an option to Open and not Update. Is there any way of forcing my device to check for updates?
Sadly i wont get to see new content because 3rd dungeon is impossible but still this is probably best iOS game this year. Battleheart was great too ofcourse.
I've sometimes had a similar problem right after an update for something else came out, with it showing up in the updates page yet saying "Open"... A little later it apparently finished being added to the servers and showed up properly as "Update". So if nothing else, try again later and hopefully it works. Maybe try rebooting your device in case that does anything right now?
Have you tried: killing Appstore App >Reboot >Go to "Wayward Souls" Appstore Page I´m on the German Store, too and updated just half an hour ago without a problem. (Didn´t show the update in search results though, only on Storepage of the game)
