We'll get the rotation right eventually haha. Well that should have worked... we'll do a support/cheat code menu in Update 2 and we'll simply give the EARLYHATS code to whoever didn't get their hat.
I'm loving the Labyrinth so far. Perhaps it's just an illusion borne of anticipating the update so much, but I feel the game looks and runs better, too. Just a quick concern - the new auto screen flip is a little sensitive on my 3rd gen iPad; in the heat of battle, the screen has turned upside down on me like three times in 15 minutes, and my iPad is stable/stationary while playing it. Has anyone else had this happen? An easy fix, I'm sure, but just wanted to point it out. Thank you, Rocketcat/Keppa, for everything you've done to make Wayward Souls such a phenomenal game.
Wait so the labyrinth is a mashup of the previous 3 dungeons? I got to floor 5 on it and at it started off at the mines, and at around floor 4 it changed to the tower. Does it then go to catacombs, and stays at catacombs till the end? Also, I played the secret mode (which isn't that secret, lol). Is it possible to kill the gnomey guy? Edit: killed him, the door on the far left is still closed. Is there a way to open this door, or is it just for you to look at and dream about getting past?
Just a quick word to say that the controls for iPad are perfect now. My thank you to your team and you
No hats for me either, but great update! So glad iPad controls work better now. In the inventory screen, above the coin count, will you eventually add descriptions of your shields, gauntlets etc when you touch on the squares like it does on the consumables?
The game is pretty much unplayable for me after the update. The screen randomly rotates while I'm playing..
Labyrinth's mostly a mashup but there's some new floors. There's a way to open that door. Yes, should be in update 2. What device? Is it a device with no rotation locking?
The rotation is acting really weird. It auto-rotates now, but the rest of the device UI (Notification center) doesn't. Also, swiping out the notification center tab (which is really easy to do on accident) automatically reverts the screen to its default orientation until the tab retracts, for some reason. As you can imagine, having the screen suddenly flip upside down for a few seconds can be a bit of a problem during combat. EDIT: Oh, and I'm very happy about getting hats from rare chests again. I also obtained the (not very) secret gnome hat.
I'm guessing you're experiencing the same problem I just described, with Notification Center. Try swiping up from the bottom and see if that triggers the rotation, so you know what to avoid (if possible).
Yep, just tested it. I guess I'll try to not do that but I always end up hitting the screen bottom for some reason.
14 floors in, and I've already found three new hats. This might just be the best dungeon for hat hunters, since it seems like you can get hats from any enemy type.
