Can't wait try out the new Rogue and the Adventureres Red Death now. Sorry, I know it's posted somewhere but could you go over the Mage and Rogue updates. (All I know about I think is the Toadskin Cowters 100% and less energy for the Rogue's moves as well as most of the Mage's Staff upgrades? And some kind of change to her health or something? Warriors is getting debbuffed and buffed or something Ithink?) Thanks. Edit* Oh ya, what the heck am I suppose to do with all the gold I have stored up(like 50,000 or something) do I get to buy stuff or something?
I FINALLY managed to snag this one... Being a huge fan of Mage Gauntlet and roguelikes, I have no idea why I waited so long... But I've got it now, so... Wooohoooo! I've only reached the second world and unlocked the Adventurer, but I'm having a blast. The Rogue is my favorite character, she makes me feel like such a little badass. =oD I can't really add anything to the conversation other than more praise. It's an outstanding game that will most likely wind up in my top 5 iOS games of 2014. Lovin it!

Though an awful lot of development time was just making sure the new boss worked right. In hindsight we probably should have split this one up into a couple updates. Price is going up by a dollar (USD) as soon as the update hits. I think I'll email Toucharcade so that people can be warned about this. It'll go up by another dollar once the second update hits (details of our plans at the bottom). Endless mode is definite for 2nd update, and then at least one more small mode. Maaaybe two. Plans were The Gauntlet, a difficult 8 level "condensed" mode where you fought every boss and area in the game, and Arena, where every level was just one room but with enemy waves that flooded in. Problem with Arena is that it would require new content, but will see.
WOW what a list!!! Looks like I managed to pick this one up just in time. =oP Though, after the update, I might feel a little bad for only paying $5... and that 2nd update - MFi controller support... THANK YOU!!! I hope it does make its way into the update in the end and that you guys don't come across any issues with it. After reading that, I can only say again - Wayward Souls will never be deleted from my device - it will be in my top games of 2014, and I am going to waste endless hours playing this game. =oD Rocketcat raaaaahhawks.
I think the way it works now with attacking putting away your sword is the best method. That way you aren't accidentally putting away your shield if it's already up. Kepa has said there is a monster shopkeeper planned for the 3rd update where you can spend extra gold. Looks like an awesome and extensive update. One question: "Super Secret Victory Area, will YOU survive its enigmatic horrors?" What the heck is that? After you beat the diamond boss is there a secret area you have to find before exiting? Or will talking about it be a spoiler?
Thats i think it should be an option. I've gotten use to just swiping down once to put out the shield, so it wouldn't be an issue for me. It just gets annoying having to attack again to put it away. That second you stop moving and swing at nothing ruins the flow. But it seems I'm the only one that wants this option lol. So i think it'll be best just to not add it and focus on the important features What a tease! Looking forward to what ever it is
There's something missing from the boss fights that every other game has. Your supposed to get a rare or really good item drop. At least a hat?
After updates are submitted they usually take between 7-14 days I think, before they show up on the AppStore. I think developers are also able to hold them back for certain dates if they want to. So it's really just up in the air. No one knows for sure when an update will hit until they're announced and given dates. Getta wait n see. =o)
We were going to have "swipe down again to put shield away" but were afraid it would confuse people/trip them up when they panicked. Can't really have an option to change really small things like this, either, due to us wanting to keep the amount of stuff in the options menu under control. We may try this again with shield using characters in the next game. I feel better about this idea in a game where each character has one special ability, so we could tutorial the shield use better.
