In-game stats are tricky just because there's not a lot of screen real estate. Gnashers (and many of the +crit items) are +4%/+7%. Black Cat Braces are +40%/+60% stealth duration. Hush Slippers are the same. Though both are changing function in Update 2, since they really just exist right now to make the Mirage Poniard better. Let me know if anyone figures out what adventurer sword doesn't break guard shields, if any of them. Or any other big inconsistencies.
Pause. Hat box on the left. Also, in the options is an option to make hats match your character's clothes colors. (Speaking of which, is that being put in the hat box? It would be quicker to just have it and hats in the same screen.)
Hmm. I stand corrected then. I may misremember the perks that comes with the sword, but I'm fairly sure I experienced one of the Adventure's swords failing to break shields, and from the common knights/Guards. However, since no one else seems to experience any issues, I'm starting to doubt myself.. Or my sanity...
Love this game I honestly love this game. Played it instantly when it came out. Now it's so boring. I feel like i have nothing left to do with this game. I really appreciate all the work Kepa and RocketCat has done with this amazing game. I been following their twitter and this forum to get any real update on the update 1. Although I don't want to complain, I'm getting really tired of the "soonish" ETA. Anyways, I can't do anything about it anyways. Kepa, can we expect this update to be submitted by middle of June?
"Soonish". We're hoping to submit it this weekend, but you never know. It's a good idea, but we're not sure where to put it exactly.
So, MFI Gamepad support is being added to Update 2 and not this upcoming update, correct? If it is indeed in update 2, is there any chance of an option being added to lock down the virtual joystick before then?
I really don't like having to grind for gold to get the lackluster upgrades. Probably quitting cuz of it
It's been mentioned that the stat upgrades are supposed to be minor, they are really just there to provide a small sense of progression and give you some reward for your failed attempts.
Maybe a bottom corner, and maybe move the hat description toward the other side for more room? That could work.
You should definitely test them out, just in case. If it really is 'option 3', it'd definitely be good for RocketCat to know that. I'll test the other three swords, for my part. If you do decide to test them all, I'd suggest making notes of which upgrades you get and their shield-breaking capacity as things happen, so there's absolutely no doubt in your results or your sanity
Kepa, please look at implementing iCloud support like Battleheart Legacy. It's really done well ... Thanks!
Use lantern, hit twice, repeat. Then try to dodge projectiles and hit him a little while e is taking breaks. After a while jus hit him nonstop. Hourglass will ofcourse help
ETA's on whatever: WHO KNOWS. It's really slippery, never know if a bug will pop up that ends up being 20 different issues to fix. Really, all we can do is say if updates/etc are submitted or not. https://www.facebook.com/rocketcatgames for some early details about the next game the Wayward Souls team is working on, after we're done with the next couple updates. Feedback for Wayward Souls that don't really fit into WS will probably make its way to this next game.
