Not all classes get scrolls; if I remember right, the Warrior and Rogue can't find any scrolls, and the Adventurer finds them pretty rarely.
That reminds me, there is one item missing from the wiki: the Sun Flare, which is only obtainable by the Paladin and is therefore currently restricted to the tutorial. It's very minor, but it's still an item.
My favourite upgrades: Warrior: Skullhack, Hurlbat Hands, Thorned Heart Mage: Silver Eye Staff, Tome of Storms, Tremor Garb Rogue: Dancing Grass, Giantstompers, Nullguards Adventurer: Giant's Knife, Sunlight Rosary, Orvar's Shield Spellsword: Phoenix's Plume, Vambraces of the Mist, Spellsheath of the Hummingbird Cultist: None, Shining Orange, Belt of the Trickster
My game of the year so far. Nothing beats the feeling of smashing that last boss in it's smug mask face, knowing the multiple levels of hell I just made through to get there. Only managed it with the warrior so far though. The spell sword is the character I like the most, but I end up dodging into attacks in the catacombs and dying like a little girl. Sigh As to the complaints about upgrades being worse than the starting weapons, I don't get that, upgrades force you to change your style of play, but in general are much better, not to mention more interesting. Also, some upgrades sync nicely with others, for example the increased crit hit gloves and a skullhack weapon on the warrior gives you lovely big hits :-D Finally, while an endless or more hardcore 4th dungeon would be cool, things that would really increase the replay value for me are new areas with new enemies, especially if they extend the characters' stories (I want to know what happens to them dammit ). And new characters of course! I don't mind waiting and even some fairly priced IAP would be fine by me if it added lots of content. Anyway, time to go pwn some more thorned :-D
Is it true the devs will increase the price of the app by a dollar each time a huge content update is available?
I hope so. On another note: IMPORTANT I want special abilities I can purchase with my gold. Like another tree of upgrades but instead of passive buffs I want new attacks and stuff. Maybe you switch your attacks the way you switch hats; maybe their is a quick toggle. That part isn't for me to figure out. But I need new attacks.
Apricosomoso already answered you, and I'll verify: yes, beautifully. Besides the initial load time, I've never noticed anything slow about the game. WooHooII, I was wondering about the Paladin's item, but decided I'd wait to include it until the update to make Paladin playable. Glad I hit everything else. Feel free to check off the avilability boxes if you're absolutely sure about them. Mini-bosses I envisioned as going in the Special Events page, which is completely empty at the moment. That page I was thinking would be used for special encounters (Lexi, Jepp, etc.), "hat dungeons" and maze rooms, and other special events (mini-bosses, ambush/treasure rooms, etc.). So that's going to be a pretty important page, and it's, again, completely empty atm. Thanks for your help so far! I've encountered most of the rare enemies before, but haven't added them because I don't know their names and am not sure enough about their attacks to add those either. There's a black lifter with a very increased shockwave, for example, that I've been trying to see for a while now for the wiki. I don't know its official name, so I haven't added it yet. I usually spend a minute or three running around each 'new' enemy to make sure I see all their attacks to document them.
Finally beat the third dungeon. Wasn't sure if it would happen before the update. Excited to play the cultist now.
Congrats everyone who has recently beaten the third dungeon or another dungeon for the first time. Progress feels good, doesn't it? Recently completed an Ashen Cults maze that had this little scene right before the exit. Don't remember this being talked about in the thread before, although with all these pages it's probably understandable if there was and I missed it. Basically, Uamuleth (a boss from MG, for those who don't know) is ordering his followers to attack the cursed tower and take control of it. What. The cultist there is giving a progress report to a projection of Uamuleth, who is probably still banished in the other realm? He notices that I'm there, even though I'm behind him because he turned around, and then I killed him. Uamuleth's projection disappeared. Pretty sweet stuff, and amazing that I'm still finding new events after weeks of playing.
I've only seen it once, but I checked the name when I did so. It's called an Armored Lifter, and I added it yesterday. I also remembered the name of that purple demon in the cult levels: Abyssal Demon. Edit: I believe there's also a rare version of the Temerators, but it looks almost the same as the original. They seem to be able to revive several enemies at once, which is really irritating.
Yup, those guys suck. I haven't actually targeted one ever, so I can't be sure it's called a Royal Temerator, but that would be a solid guess if I were to make one. The first time I saw one, I thought the giant revive circle was a graphical bug, haha. Really, really sucks that it's not. Have seen a few more after that, but not since I started working on the wiki. Earlier today, a pretty good run with Hassan got ended by a room full of regular enemies and three regular temerators. Very difficult to deal with. Edit: Added a few hats. Some I couldn't tell the placement of because either you or I lacked adjacent hats, so I put (placement?) after those. Others I could add in the correct location easily. You need to fight more piggies, and I need to fight more slimes, undead, and golems. Between the two of us, we have 156 unique hats (if I counted correctly).
Glitch or maybe something cool I can get off about three free shots with the Mage on the first boss. This happens after the Mage talks but before Humphrey talks. He flies down from above and during this sequence you have already begun to tap the screen during the Mage talking so that a few taps get through during the second it gives you; he lands right in front of you and the attacks connect.
Anyone who remembers the shadow bomb invis glitch ,it still exists. I beat the tower invisibly like a boss
