There's no reward exactly, other than the satisfaction of knowing that you are probably the world number 1 right now. EDIT: Number 2.
LOL! I showed this game to a friend and he said: Its better than Flappy Bird. I tried to explain but with no luck that his has nothing to do with FB. I think we are doomed there. The world has changed for the worst.
I think I posted in the wrong Wave Wave thread a couple mins ago, but here is the message again. Hopefully someone can help: I'm a big fan of this game since the day it came out. I love how difficult but addictive and fun it can be. I'm also a big fan of the updated speed of the inversions. However, ever since the update I have been having an issue with the Levels game mode. When I go to 'Levels', and click/tap on the first difficulty 'Wave', I'm able to complete the first 3 stages (Baby Steps, Should Be Easy, and Yep Too Easy..) but it won't allow me to continue onto the 4th level (Is This A Joke?). It continues to tell me that it's locked and I need to complete more levels. Are the requirements for unlocking stages different since the update? Before the update, I had stage 4 of Wave in Levels unlocked just fine, but the second I updated, it said "Completed" but was also locked at the same time. This is very frustrating. I love the game, but please let me know what is wrong with the Levels mode, because it is unplayable at this point. I am on an iPhone 5, iOS version 6.1.4. EDIT: Never mind, after posting in the other thread I learned it will be fixed in the next update. Thanks again for a great game!
Thank you, I'm trying hard not to enter guilts-ville. Anyway, I'm thrilled to the bone! I am glad that it has brought enjoyment and replay value to people.
About the Wave Wave review: Wave Wave is a little too inspired by Super Hexagon to get 5 stars. After all, its not reinventing the wheel as Super Hexagon did, it just keeps the trend. Nothing groundbreaking: same music, same female voice, unlocking modes after 60 seconds, the names of the modes, etc... Wave Wave is good and have its own things going for it like the different mechanic and all the effects, and I like it. But 5 stars, just no.
I disagree. Wave wave does tons a new things that make it a game of its own. But let's not get into a argument here
Agreed, never said otherwise, I think you misunderstood me... 5 stars, at least to me, belongs to a game that is groundbreaking or at least vastly improves upon the formula. That is my point.
