I noticed I wasn’t getting any ads at all on the chill modes and was getting a free revive in the other two modes. I think there may be some issues with the ads. Anyone else notice this? This is what he tweeted earlier: “So Wave Redux has had 67k ad requests so far in a few days, but I've only made 50c because of an extremely low ad match rate. Lol I guess that's game over then for any sort of financial reward. I'm proud of the game and I'm glad I made it, but that's a bit soul crushing ” ”There have been many thousands of "ad requests" but admob is not supplying anything.” I don’t know how this stuff works exactly but his situation seems pretty horrible. Since I’ve gotten a lot of enjoyment out of the game the IAPs are only $1 each I bought both of them to show what little support I can. Your support is very humbling, thank you so much. I know ads are not the most... sought after thing in mobile games haha, but out of interest here's what happened. It's true, I'm making nothing from google's ad system. They've been "investigating" my account for a month now, with virtually no end in sight. It's apparently a rather normal thing to happen to relatively new/indie ad-serving developers, as they monitor your app's ad traffic, so I left it alone. Except it's come at the worst possible time as I released Wave Redux, and I also didn't anticipate that it would have a DOA effect on ad serving once the app was live. I've promptly switched to Unity Ads which was a breeze to implement! The update should be available soon. Fingers crossed. Many thanks to those who purchased ad removals. You rock!! If you want to support the dev you can buy the IAP located in the “i” tab on the title screen. On the next screen you can buy a “remove ads” for the Chill modes, and/or a permanent revive for the HYPE modes.
Yeah, bought the no-ads IAP to support. They should make those easier to find, especially with the ads not working.

Nice job crushing my chill mode scores! Yeah, I stink at the hype mode. It’s a nice change of game mechanics and something to look forward to getting better at.
