i recently left my ipod along with other objects in a bag along the jetty at the beach. About 3 hours of surfing later, the tide came in and got all my stuff wet. Anyways i was wondering if there was any way to fix the ipod. It won't turn on but when i plug it into my computer it detects the ipod. Help please? :)

Salt may be a problem... stick in rice for a few hours for now.

I agree. I have read that it sometimes helps if you put it in a ziplock bag full of rice and leave it overnight, so that hopefully the rice will absorb the water. Whatever you do, don't turn it on until you have done this!
I'll be interested in hearing whether this works for you...
