not really, but I'll be interested to hear what you think about it. I was really excited when Jurassic Park came out - and that one definitely lived up to the hype (I read the book too) Please post your impressions - its supposed to look awesome.
I'm pretty pumped, I've never seen a 3D movie before (not with modern 3D tech anyway) but I was reading up about the making of the movie and it seemed like an event I didn't wanna miss. So I've booked tickets for January 25th, that was the closest date available with the seats I wanted... this thing sells out quickly. I find this really impressive: Resolution too big for forums
Eh, plot seems kinda cheesy, but I'll probably end up seeing it. Impressions'll be welcome, of course.
I'm watching it tomorrow. But due to the snow (already 5cm thick outside), roads might be closed tomorrow/school closed. Therefore, no way to cinemna, no way to Avatar
I managed to book some Midnight Launch tickets, and I'm going today. I'll be back at like 3:30 AM with no school tomorrow, so I'll be sure to post my impressions. I hope I get to keep my 3D glasses... Scratch that. I WILL keep the 3D glasses
Im seeing it tonight, I thought it was going to be stupid when I watched the first trailer, but when I saw the second one a few weeks ago, it reminded me of Halo mixed with District 9 =]
lol that's what I said when the Harry Potter movies came out, but I still like them. I appreciate this movie mainly for the production value and will probably see it over the holiday.
I basically look at this movie as Lord of the Rings, but without so much extreme nerdiness. It's a bit fantasy and no doubt there are gonna be some fat white guys attending cosplay events dressed like one of the Na'vi... but it's somehow slightly more cool.
lol. color me a nerd then I LOVE lord of the rings. have been fascinated with the whole series ever since i read the Hobbit back in 3rd or 4th grade. *
This movie looks pretty cool, A LOT of my buddys are saying things like "Computer graphics have reached the point where I can't distinguish them from reality!" I'm sorry, as good as the movie looks, I just don't see it. Some of the environment settings are really quite nice, but the nari, neri (Whatever the blue things are) look waay to blue to look "real" However the facial expressions are incredible...idk I am a harda** on everything so I'm probably over criticizing! (I haven't even seen it so i'll just be quite now
