...which inspired one of my favorite PSP games of all time, one of the main reasons I still keep one around. On Punk Justice: looks great, amazing work for a first time developer. You've made a sale, wastedyuthe.
Patients, my fine fellow. Ta very much. Always nice to hear the compliments as well as constructive criticism. Forgot to tell you guys something about the game- In the campaign mode, where you have to pick off the bad guys in the parks (9 opponents in each park), your strength doesn't always start from 100% with each fight. Basically after a fight, your strength increases by 30% while you heal. The minimum it we be at though is 40% to give you more of a chance in the next fight. So, all you have to do is not get hit in order to keep your strength up through the campaign. Your strength starts back at 100% at the start of each park. If you notice on the Campaign menu screenshot, you are shown your strength on the top right of the screen. This adds an extra bit of strategy when picking your next fight, as you might want to pick a slower opponent if your strength is too low- so long as you have that option that is.
Yes it's a bit of a wait isn't it? It'll probably get rejected for having the womans skirt too short or something. I'll just tell them "fine- I'll put short skirts on the blokes too!"
Looking forward to your big release! Can you show us the icon for the game? Sorry if you did already I just hate going back through pages and pages to see if something may exist.
Yep. See the attached screenshot of my Home page with Punk Justice as the first app. It's only the same picture of Jed, but I decided to remove the shine/reflection (as on the "Hotdog Down A Hallway" icon below it) on the icon as I don't like that. As you can see, the name fits under the icon now, whereas when it was called Fist of Justice, I had to resort to using the initials FoJ, which didn't look very good. I have just bought a HD camera btw, so may be able to release better quality footage than on the trailer. I may record a couple of fights and see how I get on.
Sorry- just removed the video and hoped no-one noticed. There was an error with the audio. I am in the process of sorting it out and uploading again- will take a while though. Uploading HD takes an eternity! Yes, we are still playing the waiting game. Hopefully for not much longer, and hopefully get the video re-uploaded soon for you guys.
while people are amazed by need for speed (i'm more curious about real racing) i bought top gun which is really very nice and i'm waiting for punk justice. i believe it will be out very soon. by the way, what kind of hd camera did you buy?
Hehe- sorry. I bought a Panasonic DMC-FZ28 for £250. There are some good video reviews on YouTube. I already have a Canon SLR and had a Casio compact camera (used to record 640x480 video for the trailer- sold it today). This Panny is the bridge between them- the pq is just as good as my SLR but its smaller and lighter, and it shoots HD video (used for the preview of the game made today). It has a 18x optical zoom, and best of all you can use that zoom while recording video! It's bloomin' superb- the best camera I ever bought! I highly recommend them. Btw, the new preview vid is in the process of uploading as I write. I removed the last preview from YouTube and my desktop, then forgot I also removed it from iPhoto, so I have just had to make another quick one. It will give you guys another small glimpse into the game anyway.
Yeah- I lost on purpose Hopefully you guys can see how sometimes it's best to wait for an attack, dodge it, then counter. If the opponent uses defensive tactics on higher ranks, it is very hard to hit them. The ones in the video are only on an easier rank however.
