The fourth character has double jump----
    I am enjoying this game.
I think the Dev of this game should work the introduction of there games to the player.
Yes it's level based, but exploration is amazing. Puzzles and back tracking
You got shortcuts, and unlock new extra scenes.
    Spectacular boss fight with patterns.
Concerning the jump thing, yes it's really bad------- however I think this game is great.
Concerning platforming the jump mechanics need to be fix
    PLEASE FIX THE JUMP HOVERING
    - the game has a STORY-- and it looks amazing.
    FOR 0.99$
    -- NO INTERNET CONNECTION
    - NO IAP
WORTH IT-- I am near the end of this game because I have unlocked most characters. ( playing non stop)

For the price, this game is a great piece of work, i was thinking 'another 1 buck game' but must admit i'm quite suprised Oo.

Needs some adjustments (controls and 1/2 other things)

Five stars for the Q/P , but i would recommend to get MUL MASH(etc) as the best fresh iphone game even if it's quite a different genre.

Give this one a try then :)

It takes more than 5 hours for me-- but I think I steal have 2 hours worth of new levels.
And I have replayed 3 levels.
To be on the safe side I will say five hours and more

    Stuck

I played just the very first battle and then got to the first character screen where it froze on me.
The arrow near the Hp box still moves a bit up and down , but I can't exit or select anything.

    Fantastic nice game

Reminds me of muramasa and dust an elysian tale, the rpg elements are plentiful and very grindy

Will be hooked on this game even after its finished with the insane difficulty mode!

    **edit**

it does download an update the first time you run it (and checks for updates every time after that), but it blows up to just under 900MB ; just.... so people know - you'll want to be on wifi so you don't eat up cell data

    Here’s the official trailer:

I don’t remember seeing this game when it came out either. I’m not seeing any signs of it being a metroidvania like the original poster mentioned but it does look like a nice action adventure game.

Is anyone experiencing the game stutter when making vertical movements?

it's not a 'classic' metroidvania.... but there are parts of stages that you'll need other characters (and possibly upgrades) in order to reach. as for wether or not they have substantial gaming behind them or are just littered with a few treasure chests/items is also up in the air....
If you've played Miss Claire Garden, it's more along those lines in regards to going back to previously beaten areas.
The Insane difficulty is also there.... enemies hit a little harder but the biggest thing I noticed when trying it out was that either their defenses are WAY up, or they have a ton more HP (maybe a bit of both?). But it was still fairly hard to die in the regular stages. The end chapter bosses are another story. granted, i've only cleared 9 stages on Normal difficulty and 4 on Insane (have yet to take out either of the first bosses).

Anyway.... i'm definitely not regretting picking it up. It is a nice little hack'n'slash/adventure/side-scrolling ARPG title, and if the difficulty goes up as the game progresses, it could wind up being one that I throughly enjoy and gush on and on about (as i do....).
    :p
