Warpack Grunts - Coming soon from Freeverse?

Looks pretty epic. Ill defiently give it a go when it comes out. Any multiplayer ideas?

 

We don't want to promise anything that does not happen. We just got our hands on GameKit that does Bluetooth networking in the new 3.0 that is coming out. So far we like it a lot.

 

One of the members of the Freeverse team just stated the expected release date on the previous page. But it's JUNE 24th.

I guessed it would be a Cannon Fodder clone from the ad with the cartoon style soldier, and the name 'warpack grunts' which indicates that there are more than 1 soldier, and they are in a pack.

 

Well... I wasn't actually really being serious, but whatever good job guessing it. This looks amazingly awesome, can't wait til it comes out.

 

Not sure if this was posted but this video has tanks and helicopters. Looks nice.

EDIT: It was already submitted!!!! YAY!!!!!! Expected release date is the 24th, only 3 more days!!!!! This is an awesome week for games, MiniGore, Mass Effect Galaxy, Warpack Grunts, and hopefully Tyrian! AWESOME!!!!!

Is this going to be considered an RTS? If not what should it be called?

 

There may be a nice surprise from TA before the game comes out in the app store. We shall see.

 

Ha Ha, just looked at the front page of this forum, instead of the grunts ad on the first post it has the pocket gold ad! It keeps switching, sometimes galactic gunner sometimes grunts, sometimes pocket gold!

Does this game play similar to Meowcenaries from adultswim's website? That game is fun

 

Cool video, the game reminds me of Cannon Fodder for the old Amiga I especially like the sounds - good job guys

 

Does anyone know if its actually coming out today? Looks great!

 

It's still going through Apple approval, so will be next week now.
