Ohh, I get it...they WANTED to get the Runts licensing but, when that failed, they came up with this name?
I've also been clicking on this ad on a near-daily basis hoping new info will pop up. But, alas... I look forward to getting more info.
Does anyone have the time to check the dimensions of that image. It looks like it would fit the iPhone perfectly...
You don't really need to. The dev said when they are ready they will be announcing it on TA first They might be waiting for wwdc since it's only a week and a half away
Mostly we're waiting for me and Adam to hurry up and finish the game then we'll be waiting for Apple to hurry up and approve it of course, but I think the plan is to release more info on the game itself before then. We don't want to tease with screenshots before Adam's happy they're representative of the final game (ie he's found all the bits where I've been putting in temporary coder art and replaced them with proper graphics) but as soon as we've got something that's worth looking at, you guys will see it. btw. the teaser graphic on the warpack.com website is 320x480, so if you want to use it as wallpaper on your iPhones it should work.
Nice, I will use as this weeks background. Freeverse to me have to be one of the best devs for the iPhone. Don't get me wrong gameloft has quality games but they never know how to update them. Freeverse has been on it. Slotz Cars is still considered number 1 in my mind.
Can you tell us what kind of game it is atleast? (I know it involves shooting, obviously, but is it 2D or 3D? Action, strategy, Turn Based etc?)
Not at this stage, as any bits of info tend to fire off all sorts of weird and wonderful speculation and when the game gets released we start getting 1 star reviews because the game doesn't give your iPhone anti-gravity capability because that's what someone guessed it would do in the thread However I can say that this is one of 2 games we're writing at the moment and it's designed to be fun and relatively simple (so no anti-gravity). It also isn't a tower defence game Oh, and it has a character called "Sarge"
Cool. I understand why you don't want to release info yet ; although saying if it's 3D or 2D would not hurt. But that's your call / problem. Can't wait.
I tend to agree with freeverse on this issue. People are going to far with reviews. I always read, you cant do this...you cant do that....If the game doesn't say you can do that don't assume. Judge the game by what it can do not what it can't.
Wait, so is there anti gravity or not becau.... jk You're last hint stinks, imo. I haven't heard of an army based game without a character named Sarge. Either way, you've piqued my interest and I look forward to screenshots (or at least something more than the banner and site intro graphic). Thank you for replying back to our drooling, mouth-breathing community.
From what I'm hearing from the Freeverse guys, it's going pretty well. But they have to shout pretty loud as they're on the other side of the Atlantic
Regarding Baseball: With WWDC just around the corner, we won't be releasing any info on Flick Baseball (or any other games) until WWDC. But it's going awesomely. There was a great lengthy discussion about the correct statistics for stealing between a shortstop and a center fielder, here in the office the other day. Of of course heated debate surrounding the Designated Hitter.
