Alright, I just played an offline bot match on iPhone 4 and it ran fine. For the most part, no glitchy, laggy movement at all. I'll try a round of online play and let you know how it goes. Annd, played an online match with a couple other people, and it ran fine. A little hiccupy, but a lot better than it was on release. Very much playable and enjoyable.
Just note that every server will be different. Choose ones with good ping nums. (I think that makes it smoother)
This thread convinced me to finally buy Warm Gun, especially The Dev's post about an upcoming update and it's .99!
Thanks to TA for the news post about "because we may" As mentioned Warm Gun does not work on 3G, however it does work on 3GS. We are working hard to bring some big updates and more content in the next few weeks. We are working on adding retina display and lots of new content... this next version will be a biggie.
I'm STILL having trouble finding an online match to join, if there's 1 player on as soon as i try to join the match they quit.
I can't believe I missed this one. But if there is a problem with finding online match than downloading doesn't have sense...
We have three new maps on the way Peak times seem to be evenings and weekends... we are still trying to grow the player base and with the new updates that include stats and leaderboards we hope to get the servers even more populated.
If you're having that kind of trouble, just join an empty server so that you can play with bots until others join. That's what I do. Not sure if that would help you though. Also, super excited for the new maps!
I found other bug: sometimes, the animation of the Preacher pistols doesn't work. For example, I just had a match and only the right pistol had the shooting animation. I'm using an iPhone 4S with last iOS (I think it's iOS 5.1.1). BTW, will more languages be available in the next update?
Thanks for the heads up on the animation... sometimes if other apps are open it causes some weirdness. We will look into it. As for other languages... nothing has been planned. We are focused on updates to the gameplay and quality... then porting to android. Maybe some day down the road we can get the game localized for other languages. Right now its just not on our priority list.
This hasn't got retina display for the iPad 3, has it? /: this is one of my favorite games, because it's a shooter and it has offline bot mode.
I really want to like this game but I signed up for the multiplayer and the game just freezes at the server list after logging in. This is happening on my "new iPad".
You're welcome. I have that issue everytime I play, even without other opened apps. Can't wait to the next update!
We will do a reboot of the servers today and see if this helps clean stuff up... I'll keep you posted.
Ok we reset the servers, can you please make sure you reboot your device and then log back in... try to connect to a server thats got the lowest ping. Let us know if it works out for ya... good luck.
