    I hope this will be the game for iPhone 4 and iPad only.

    The ingame video looks great.

    It'll probably be compatible with 3GS and 3rd gen devices, but not 2nd.

    Yea i just wish that Crytek make a custom cryengine for iDevices like they're gonna do for NGP. Then our iDevices will truly look better than real life.

    I doubt it will but this game looks like it could really show off the power of the new ipad. Speaking of which is there any mention of a hd version or not yet ?

    There's no need to mention hd version anymore: iphone4 has bigger resolution than ipad.

    iPhone 4: 960x640
    iPad: 1024x768

    The iPad has a higher resolution, but the iPhones smaller screen makes it clearer when close to the screen.

    How is 960 x 640 bigger than 1024 x 768?

    Looks like someone needs to repeat school. from the beginning. :rolleyes:

    Woops :) you got me there :) it's all my iphone that is much clearer than ipad to me..

    Well I think that's the difference in resolution is not that big and that making it 1024x768 and then downscaling to 960x640 with Unreal Engine is not a biggie.

    I'm guessing both because the mobile version would be the same basic game whether on android or iOS. Plus when a game is out for different mobile devices, most devs won't make seperate trailers if it's the same basic game. They might for a hand-held and a mobile, but not for two phones.

    Thats because the iPhone 4 is packing twice the pixels into the same screen space as the 3GS, therefore the pixel density (DPI or dots per inch) is substantially greater, so every thing looks clearer. The ipad has a much lower pixel density but more pixels due to the larger screen space.

    The iPad has 786432 pixels and
    the iPhone and iPod Touch 4 have 614400 pixels

    => a difference of 172032 pixels. That is quite abit when you think about it.
