I read somewhere that this game would be released on the 5th alongside with Dark Meadow. So I guess we'll have to wait and see then.

maybe this game will be promoted on the 4th of October in "Lets Talk iPhone" event ... Apple also promotes Guitar Hero when Apple introduced iPhone 4 to all ppl in the world...

If they do, thats a good thing. But they would promote modern combat 3, if that is available

I wish all devs kept us up to date on here. Ryan, the guy who made "mission Europa" is the coolest dev I've ever seen. He was constantly on here updating us with what was going on. Even when he was waiting for it to be approved he was on here at least twice a day or more-"still waiting for it to be approved guys, I'll let you know as soon as it is." He seemed just as excited for us to play his game as we were. he submitted 2 versions and when the first version got approved he told us and even asked "finally it's done guys! Do you want me to click it now so you can buy it or wait for both versions?" needless to say, everyone said to click it now and we were able to buy it within a few minutes. That game rocks and so does Ryan for being so personal with his fansbase. The forum for that game has one of the highest threads that I've seen, and it was because the dev didn't want to keep us in the dark. It was like he was one of our best friends had made a game, it was awesome. Anywho, I say all that to say this- if the devs wanted to they could be on here keeping us more in the loop. Ryan released his game as soon as it was approved, he didn't wait until wed. Night because he was trying to get "app of the week" or whatever. I can tell this isn't coming out u til next week, it just sucks wondering what's going on when someone could be filling us in. Were the one who will be filling up their bank accounts with some of that cashola. Vaya con el diablo!

Can't say because they are completely different types of MP

It's a little different with Warm Gun. I know Ryan put a ton of work into ME, but I think there is a lot more background work going into Warm Gun which is keeping Emotional Robots from the thread. Remember, they are just a small group of 'die-hard' gamers making a professional grade game.

    ^^ this...

and... people do have lives... you can't expect them to spend all their time here on TA...

I do because I have no life, but I don't expect every developer to be here waiting for people to talk about their game(s)...

chill out... I'm sure we'll get info when they get info, or at least in a reasonable time afterwards... the game's coming...

yes,i shall,"chill out" ? as you americans say. and thanks for making excuses as to why devs and consumers should have little communication between them as possible. my point, which i'm sure you missed, was that some devs take 5 seconds to come on here and keep us filled in and some do not. this is one of the best looking games on here (ios) and im looking forward to it. if the devs mislead us by saying it'll be released as soon as its approved and they meant as long as it reaches the wed. night deadline, otherwise it will be next week, then let us know. people kept checking on here thinking it would appear at any time. call me old fashioned but i WILL hold you responsible for what you say. i'll still buy the game, but be more clear about release dates and let your fans know something, thats all. i'm sure you're a fine gentleman, long flowing locks(goldilocks comes to mind) but just because you've posted alot doesnt put your opinion on a pedestal to me. i just wanted to express my opinion without someone filling it full of holes. that,as usual,is a lost cause. if you'd like to you could do the lyobpd, but thats entirely up to you.

Nope, ur wrong, I have short brown hair, and yes, because I have no life, and 4,000+ posts here on TA, it definitely means that my opinion means more and has more credibility than anything that comes outta your mouth. That's the whole reason I spent so much time on here, and same with all the other close to and over 5k post members. NOW EAT MY OPINION, AND SHUT THE HELL UP!!!

Dude get off his case. That was completely uncalled for. You can take that sh*t elsewhere.

In terms of lack of dev communication, what difference will it really make? They don't know anything more than we do. We are all waiting on Apple. As far as we know, it is waiting for approval. Emotional robots doesn't know anything more than that. What do you not understand about the approval process? Apple just doesn't let you in the loop cause you're the dev. Nobody knows what's going on except the people at Apple. Do you get that? A 5 second post from the devs won't tell us anything new.

Ok you obviously are having a very difficult time understanding the degree and the pressure to which these guys work and are under.

This is the first Unreal Online FPS for the iOS Platform. That is a HUGE task to undertake. They are working feverishly to make sure that this comes out and gets updated continuously.

They are working on a PC version and an iOS version at the same time, while shifting focus from one platform to another every so often.

They are a very very small team and their funds and time and resources are spread thin. Very thin.

That being said they are doing their best to work on the game. PR is a facet they need to tackle, but frankly PR can only begin for them when they have time. If they have someone focus on PR and spend 5 mins here or there, thats 5 mins less they could have been working on the game. And in that 5 mins that particular person could have had a humongous break through in terms of optimization, level design, weapon ideas, etc.

The fact is not every team or single dev can cater to your needs. You need to understand how busy they are and that spending 5 mins to tell you an update is not always the easiest thing to do.

I can tell you from the chats that these guys are up until 4-5am then sleep. Then wake up and start working immediately. Frankly if you've been eating stale whale crackers forever, then you haven't been able to make it to the store in a while (Inside joke, Dennis knows whats up.) Which only further supports the fact that they have little to no time to do anything other than code/design/build/test.

Since the game has been submitted, its more likely that someone from ER will be here to discuss a few things, Zach most likely as he's been the most vocal of the group.

I hope that this explains a little bit about the hardships indie studios go through. And maybe you can stop voicing your "opinion" (as it seems you are taking your "opinion" as the hard facts) in such a way to where it directly belittles ER.

Apple's approval times are not set in stone mind you, so the Wed night deadline could be missed. It could take 3 weeks for apple to approve this. Hell columbus day is coming up and I guarantee you that thousands of devs are sending in requests and/or updates to their games and apps for sales, and the like.

Stop being a troll. Seriously. You are not that special. Get over yourself.

Yep to all of the above points. And this: even if this is a case of Emotional Robot holding out on us (do we know for certain that the final build has indeed been submitted, or that ER are not waiting for the opportune moment to release Warm Gun?), it is their bloody right. Their property, their game, their code, their assets, on and on into infinitay, m-fudger! ;)

Sure, we can [female dog] and [a low, mournful cry of pain, sorrow or pleasure], and yes, if done to the extreme, their conduct might truly loose them customers (I've seen many companies delay releases for months and months without any form of communication with a dedicated player base and beta testing community, to the point where folks lost faith, and I did believe the company to be acting without much respect for those who had helped them), but to delay a release for a few days? Hell, even for few weeks? That's is their frikkin' pre·rog·a·tive ;)

They made the promise to submit the game by summers end. It was submitted on the 21st the last day of summer. They have stayed true to their word. So you're right, I am right, that troll is not, and jump man is right, hell, everyone is right other than the self righteous, 14 yr old.

Great to hear about the updates. Maybe if the devs keep updating the game, they could get all the content from the pc version on iOS! Wouldn't that be sick.

I chatted with the guys from Emotional Robots on Skype and they said they will be continuing to work on Warm Gun post release for a "long time". They understand that listening to community feedback is very important and as die-hard gamers, I think it is safe to say that they will try their hardest to implement any good ideas that come up. Be ready for lots of updates for Warm Gun.

I think everyone can agree that after all is said and done, we are just wayyy too anxious for our own good! Patience is a virtue and Warm Gun needs to come out now!

    Dude what's your problem.

Lol. I think you just contradicted yourself. Although we are anxious, I wouldn't say everyone is too anxious for their own good.
