So from what I understand there will be two apps, one free called Carnival of Bullets and that'll be singleplayer. Then there will be the paid multiplayer version.

Has it been mentioned anywhere if the full version will have AI bots or is it multi only ?

    Haha!

It's just that I play a lot on-the-go so I'm relegated to solo play 95% of the time.

Hearing there will be AI bots is making me even more excited for this.

Really hope it drops soon! :D

I agree. I'm glad we don't know each other because killing you will be that much more fun!

They should make a real-time app from the Apple approval process team for us impatient gaming nerds so we can see when the game will be released to the second!

Yeah, Warm Gun has topped my wishlist for a long time now, together with Starbase Orion and Empire of the Sun.

When combined with Street Fighter Volt, Deadlock, Carcassonne, the upcoming multiplayer patch for Neuroshima Hex, the two above-mentioned strategy titles, Shadow Era and Urban Rivals, I will have portable multiplayer pornography than I could ever shake any kind of joystick at ;)

The devs of Warm Gun have yet to comment on playing over 3G, but I suppose there is a chance, since both Archetype and Eliminate Pro played well over the mobile network. So there might be hope yet, even for on the go-iey types such as yerself ;)

For all you guys wondering about the bots. There is an offline mode with 2v2 (you and the bots). And then there is online mode which is obviously online. Even on the online mode bots will fill in empty spots. If you have only 3 people then a bot will be on one team. Its awesome.

This I did not know, but was hoping for. Wonderful!

Is it possible to avoid having a bot fill the slot as well, for one on one and two on one matches?

Well, based on my testing I didn't notice any difference in skill level for the bots. There aren't any settings for changing bot difficulty(ie like in Black ops) but that is definitely something that I'd like to see added in an update.

We didn't have that option in the beta but I think that might have already been added for launch. Otherwise that would be pretty easy to throw in as an update. I think that is one of those small details that really takes a game from awesome to pure awesomesauce.

It will be released as soon as Apple approves it. That could be tomorrow or next week or any day. Nobody really knows for sure. Hopefully it is soon though

All that's said is "it'll be released when Apple approves it."

On the offical forums one of the Devs said that because there's two apps and they communicate with each other it could take a little longer...

Who knows, though. I hope it's tomorrow.

Yeah both Warm Gun and Carnival of Bullets were submitted on the 22nd. Who knows what Apple is doing now.
