Wow thanks for the awesome response guys! We've had several hundred great applications but unfortunately we can only accept a handful of testers at this time. I'm doing everything by hand (myself) so I'm going to be sending emails out in the next few hours but might not finish them. Be patient! I'll also be sending emails to those we didn't accept so everyone will have closure of some sort.

Oh I made the beta...freaking sweet. That NDA is gonna upset a lot of people. Lots of gamers can't friggin' wait for this to come out.
Restrictive NDAs are a standard when testing, even if some iOS devs have choosen not to bother. Unless it bids you to lay with the [parent of your choice] of any gamer who stumbles upon gameplay details, the NDA should be standard issue
same. I hate it when devs think age matters so much. It's not like when you're 18 you suddenly completely change (I think). Oh well, I haven't been in the mood for testing any games lately anyway... :/
It's a legal issue -- a 17 year old cannot sign a legally-binding NDA without parental involvement. It has nothing to whether the developers "trust" someone younger than 18.
