Ok, let me rephrase that "A shame" into "Sounds extremely promising" Together with Deadlock (an actually regardless of the similarities between the iOS and the PC versions, as alike as I'd prefer them to be after watching the PC trailer), Warm Gun tops my current wishlist. Good luck with the final production and testing stages!
I have a question, or two... Will this be universal and play on iPad 2? Any optimizations for iPad 2 (dual core, stronger graphics chip)? Will this look rather nice on iOS devices? (most or some UE3 games look...lackluster...nowhere nearly as good as Infinity Blade looks)
ipad2 runs like a beast, we are optimizing for the other devices but I personally would love to do a separate version after the initial release for just ipad2. Its hard to compete with a rail game because you can optimize a lot more when on rails. When you give freedom to move around there is a lot less you can optimize art wise and it also introduces extra things that need calculated like bot paths/ai, collision, (*insert other tech things here, im an artist ) But on that note, I hope you will not feel its lackluster.
I really, really hope we get to see some iOS gameplay next week ,even though the release date says July 1st I doubt that it will come then but just seeing some gameplay would be great cause I'm totally pumped for this game
No this game isn't on rails , it is an online multiplayer shooter game which is free roam, I like playing BRINK for the console this is kind of a mobile version when u look at it which is great
Nope. He said that it's hard to compete graphically with other games that are on-rails, when they are making one where you can move around freely.
I'm confused by the rails discussion. Isn't the iOS version fo Warm Gun a multiplayer deathmatch game, like the upcoming PC version?
As far as all of us know, Yes, the iOS version of Warm Gun is an online Deathmatch type game. If i remember correctly, the devs said it will be free movement.
This game is ONLINE MULTIPLAYER SHOOTER which is free movement, free roam this game is not on rails I repeat this game is NOT ON RAILS
I think the whole comparison with on rails vs. not on rails graphics detail was basicly trying to say that you shouldn't expect Infinity Blade (on rails) Graphics in Warm Gun (not on rails).
Ah okay. Thanks for extra-clearing that up anyways. The graphics are still going to be stellar, right?
