Damn no luck again. Well hopefully some one here will get in. I feel we have a great community here that would be very devoted to ironing out the bugs in a game were all very excited about.
So....hate me as you want...but I had the pleasure to play Warhammer Quest all night. And what a pleasure it was. I had to stop when wife made clear I was a dead man if I insisted playing. It's no secret I loved Hunters 2 and I had the pleasure to play the original boardgame more than 20 years ago....it's no secret my expectation were incredibly high. I was literally BLOWN AWAY and soon I was sucked in the Warhammer world that was alive between my hands. The passion, quality, slickness and sheer content is dripping from every screen....since the intro one. It's a quantum leap. I can't get into anything specific and I hope I didn't said already too much (sorry Rodeo devs...I couldn't bear to keep this inside my chest)...but it's safe to say that if you loved Warhammer Quest (the boardgame) and Hunters 2, you are in for a awesome ride. I already know the rest of my gaming year is set.

Congrats! And I am very releaved to hear it is true to the origional (I had hoped as much but you never know these days). Have fun playing and find those bugs! Must admit once I found out I missed the beta again I instantly ordered the d&d castle raven loft board game on amazon to hold me over until the ios port of warhammer quest releases lol
I never played Warhammer Quest, but I own and have played HeroQuest quite a bit and my understanding is that HQ became HQ Advanced which sort of evolved into WHQ. So it sounds like I'll love this, but my impression is this has no multiplayer? My only dream is that someone will take one of these games, and give it that multiplayer aspect that made those boardgames shine. Thus far nothing yet, but still keeping my fingers crossed.

No, trust me, Pitta is one of my closest friends on the web. And if he builds up hype and is excited as that, you can take every word as completely true. If Pitta acts like this, he either ate a bucket of Nutella or we have a strong Game-Of-The-Year candidate here. And since his wife put him on a diet not long ago, you can tell.
LOL...Hi guys, thanks for the 'congrats' but really...I didn't do anything. It was just luck and I had the honor to give a very very little contribuition to this awesome game. You should thank Rodeo for even daring to making it. Taking something beloved by so many people is not a small task. I confess that yesterday I took a day off just to test it 10 hours And I won't say more....sorry if I sound cruel...I just wanted to give people a tiny feedback....I know I was dying for any info whatsoever just some days ago. I hope/trust you will have the final product in your hands soon and I truly think you will be pleased (not just the original boardgame fans).

So they've revealed the original 4 characters plus trolls layer and warrior priest. I just noticed the pocket gamer article mentions these plus a high elf Mage as the first 7 characters. Not sure if that will be an elf Mage created for this game or the elf ranger-Mage from the original character add-ons for the board game. Really looking forward to this game
No the autocorrect on my iPad I imagine a trolls layer would need to be a bit braver and madder than a trollslayer!
I'm looking for advice whether I should break down and buy an ipad. At the moment, I have and iphone 4. With more and more quality games coming out for ios, I would prefer a larger screen. I seem to be spending more and more time on the ios apps than on computer or console. For those of you with ipad's, do you feel the cost is worth the benefit? Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Walmart and Best Buy are offering discounts on iPad Mini below the standard Apple price. That's probably what I'd get if I were looking for something primarily for gaming. The full-sized iPad can get heavy if you hold it for long periods of time.
