Same here. Haven't heard anything about the second round of betas, though, I believe they would announce it when they'd send them. I'm not sure it'll be out today, though... Part of me wants to believe that, because they stated on Wednesday that they'd be opening the beta to more people this week, but in today's post they didn't mention anything about it, just that they were announcing the heroes... Let's see. I'm cautious, don't want to get my hopes up.
New twitter info regarding 2nd beta rollout: " Second Beta will hopefully be going out to more people on Monday."
So... today is the day for the new beta round, right? Curious as to what the outcome will be, and hopefully we'll also have a release date soon-ish!
I agree. It would be nice to get some bit of info. ... even just enough to whett our appetites a little more.
They have been releasing info on their Facebook page regarding the heros and already named one expansion hero. But in terms of the beta/release nothing yet. Luckily talisman prologue is currently holding me over while I wait for warhammer quest.
I'm in the same boat with Talisman Prologue. I spent quite a bit of time with it over the weekend and have been enjoying it very much.
Has there been any info about the expansions, as far as pricing? I'm so far beyond excited for this game, I'm just curious to see how the new content is doled out. Are we paying for the game, and then buying new heroes and enemies as they come out? Or will they just be included in free updates?
I haven't seen anything on pricing but I think it is safe to assume the orig 4 heroes and enemies from the base set will be what you get with your initial purchase and then IAP for extra heroes and expansion quests (just like the orig board game). I can honestly say I have no issue with this as buying just the orig starter set for the table top new is 300 - 400 bucks!
No joke...that's kind of what I figured, and I'm totally okay with that. It sounds like the secs already have a Skaven expansion in mind...
...the wait is kind of killing me. I'm definitely in the camp of not having a problem in buying more characters and adventure packs, as long as they're timely. I'm not fully sure if my momentum in a game will pick up again if I stop playing it for a considerable amount of time because I run out of things to do... But then again, I guess I'll see
Oh damn this would kill me (well my wallet) I'm a sucker for warhammer stuff and will insta buy any extra characters and missions
You beat me to the Facebook update lol. Lets all keep hitting refresh on our inboxes and checking out test flight accounts lol
True, though the only thing we might be able to say is that "we are indeed crafted from pure greatness" Still, it'll be good to know that some people here in TA would be involved in it. Hope that that will result in better feedback to the developers!
At least they seem to be making progress. I need to mellow out on my anticipation and expectations for fear of disappointment.
Well, hopefully the thread will become pretty silent after the second round of betas - that would certainly be a good sign! They do say "tonight" in the post, so I've been holding my expectations a bit more under control. Let's see.
