I've got a 32 gig iPod touch 5 , and I have WAY too many games I don't play . Plus I have music and photos. Right now I only have 328 MB left. I really should do some pruning because some of these I just won't ever play and quite a few are endless runners lol . Need for speed , nova 3, fifa 13 , and infinity blade 2 are taking up almost 8 gigs. I'm really surprised zombie fish is taking up 982 MB. I actually like hungry shark evo better , so that will be leaving my device today And I came from an 8 gig touch , so the 32 gig is heaven comparatively. C'mon 11 !
i bought, played, and didn't like Hunters (not Hunters 2, the first one). am i likely to be excited about this? i mean, it looks pretty much like the same thing.
Have you watched the videos? It's similar in that it's TBS, but as been mentioned many, many times in the thread, it is not a reskinned hunters. It us using the same engine, but it operates like an electronic version of the board game. Dice rolls are there, progression is the same and loot is also the same. Hunters was never a board game and is dramatically different in scope. I didn't care for hunters either, it seemed unnecessarily fiddly.
I was looking forward to this. Rodeo did great with both Hunters titles and as far as gameplay goes they did a great job. A few interface tweaks and performance enhancements and its play flawlessly. The whole tilt to see inventory mechanic just feels awkward on the iPhone and even more so on the iPad. The market should be class specific. Select your character and you get to see what's available for that character. As it is you have tap each individual item to see what it's stats are and who it's for. If my marauder just got a nifty new weapon and I'm shopping to buy my dwarf a new axe I shouldn't have to read 3 marauder specific items to find what I need. The combat animations are painfully slow. The text in MANY instances is incredibly tiny. Not unreadable but my phone should never be that close to my face. The IAP. $4.99 for an app. Not at all mad at that. A lot of effort went into this and I was happy to pay. $4.99 for an expansion pack. I'd even be happy to pay for that. But I find it quite ridiculous that you'd charge $2.99 for a new character. At launch for $5 game, there should NOT be IAP totaling nearly $20. Not that these items are mandatory but I think that's a bit of a cash grab. Especially with 3 characters for $3 a pop. Those are my gripes. As I stated before, this game is a solid title. With some tweaks it'd be great.
Pretty much agree with all this. Not only that but the game also has a terrible tendency to drop enemies on you all of a sudden so there's really not that much strategy involved, specially when you consider that practically half the playable classes are DLC. Some real bad bugs too. I just had to kill the game because a goblin mysteriously decided to stop doing anything at all and so the AI turn would never end. Oh and they also try to sell you gold through IAP. It really is quite absurd for a game that is already more expensive than most.
Totally beat the game! After about 26 hours on it, my heroes has gone through all the main quests and a couple of side tasks. I played on adventure level, not hardcore, but still hell of a challenge especially the final mission for the skavens expansion (spoiller: those nasty casters). All my characters have reached level 6 except for the Archmage. They've gathered some fine equipments along their adventure. A little disappointed that there was't any unique legendary weapons like in Hunters 2. Anyway, with the treasuries in hand my marauder is considering a retirement. what do you guys think?
Congratulations. Is adventure level the easiest difficulty level? Did you get the IAPs? Did you have to grind? iPadhasnospacetoinstallWarhammerQuest...
