I think it might be closer to release than it seems...they have ben saying for at least the past week that they are waiting to reveal the release date, which to me sounds like they submitted it and have been waiting for word...maybe not this week, but possibly next?

Anyone know the price of the game yet? Or how much the expansions are going to cost?

You'll know at release day or official release date announcement.
No word yet, but I expect the expansions around 6-8$ and the characters around 3-5$ per unit.

I think that's a very, very reasonable assumption. Because while the game is awesome, it's also FAIRLY basic. I think with the name behind it, $6.99 or $9.99 sounds very fair.

As for the news that it's been submitted and could be here before the end of June, all I have to say is:

I don't mind paying basically any price for this game, but I hope that Rodeo Games is getting most of the revenue and they aren't having to give the majority of it to GW just for the license.

I don't mind if they do. It their IP. I'm sure the devs wouldn't have agreed to the deal if they got a bad deal. Suggest we all buy it ASAP once it's out so everyone get maximum money. None of this 'I'll wait a week to see if it drop by a dollar'

    Can't wait for this game

Even if GW gets the bigger share, this is a very good chance for the Rodeo team to get more recognition. If WHQ becomes a success, the name "Rodeo games" will be in everyone's mouth. That would also temporary boost their Hunters sales (and thus make up a bit for the smaller WHQ share) as well as Rodeo games would become more famous and get other good development / license deals.
Money isn't always the only factor to think about. Having a good, reliable name can be worth far more.
And the industry knows that GW is very picky when it comes to licences for their brands.

I suggest to watch this chart after WHQ was released:

Totally agree, if this game is a huge huge hit then even if they have a 'small' share of profits they should do really well. Lets all hope it is

Not to mention that if you like what you see in the first hour...you will probably want to buy the expansion immediately (because it's great, has ton of content and it's super fun).
The more expansions sold in the first month, the more likely we will see other expansions during the year.

And after having played the game, this is, HANDS DOWN, the thing I'm looking forward the most about videogaming, on every platform, this year.

    I didn't tweeted much lately I know...

TBH I'm just waiting for the announcement and the NDA lift, so I can speak freely and answer questions you might have.

Same here. I have spent at least 50 hours on Hunters 2 and from what I've seen and heard, WQ will be quite a bit better (plus I played the original board game, so that adds to my excitement). I really hope the game does well (sales wise) so Rodeo continues to add expansions. Definitely my most anticipated game in a long time!
