Thanks for that link, Pitta. Haven't really seen any new preview articles in awhile, so it was nice to get more tidbits of information. One thing I would like to know is if there are Dungeon Events like in the original board game. I know they mentioned both Travel Events and Settlement Events, but dungeon events would add a bit more variety. Also, I'm curious if when in a settlement you control the party as a group or as individuals. I'm aware that beta testers can't provide specifics about the game, but my curiosity is getting the better of me.
I have to make a confession: I am seriously in love with a Beta! Hopefully my wife will not read this... I am playing the Beta now for five days and it's so addicting and so much fun - absolutly fantastic. I never played the original boardgame, I only played HeroQuest back in the days. Can't wait for the full game to be realeased and to start again with a fresh party!

By the way, it's good to see others loving the game. I always thought I could be biased because I loved the boardgame so much (for many reasons I preferred it to the full fledged RPG), so it's nice to hear from people who didn't play it (even if you played the grand father, HeroQuest). Regarding the party...I hope to find a way to trasfer it to the final game when I'll buy it. I'll cry a bit if not....I'm very attached to them...we endured so many battles togheter....
Reading your posts keeps me going lol. Looking forward to the finished product very much. I've been playing my physical set if warhammer quest to pass the time. I am assured now that we are going to get a great product once this is released. I am fearful though some will instantly not like it due to some of the strange request you read from rodeos Facebook page (folks that obviously do not know this is based on an established board game). But you cant please everyone (especially the youger gen on gamers who mostly did soend tome in basements around a table top game). My only question right now (and I hope you can answer) is how many bugs are you seeing currently? Does it seemed very polished? Just trying to see if we're likely looking at a mid month release or end of month (depending on apple submission process of course).
I share your sentiment, expecially after reading some of the questions on their very facebook page too. Some of them really manifest that many have absolutely no clue of what they are about to get. It's not bad per se but... On the other end tough...I saw many questions from fan of the original boardgame too...so there is definitely an odience. I can see myself playing this for a VERY long time. Also...keep strong, it won't be long

No date set as far as I know, they posted it last week saying 'next week'. I'm sure the video will be posted here too.
Hey Pitta, I know you can't say much at all about the game, but the little bits you have been sharing are definitely exciting. Without saying too much, can you say what you think of the actual combat? The pocket gamer article made a few comments about the fighting seeming less than solid, and I was curious what you thought. I am a huge fan of the Hunters games, and I have always thought the combat felt fantastic...hitting someone with the hammer felt right, you know? Any thoughts?
I can only say that I do not concour with the preview in that part (I think they have no issues with the combat, on the contrary...I think they are referring more to the animations). If you love Hunters, let's just say you won't be disappointed (and I'm referring to the hitting people with weapons too ). EDIT:While playing, I can't help to think how I used to move dead still miniatures with my hands....so actually seeing them in motion (picture Hunters 2 for the sake of clarity for now) is always great for me.

Thank you I thought it would be as hunters 1 and 2 were for the iPhone as well but wasn't 100% sure this would be, and didn't want to excite myself too much and when it came to release time finding out it was only for iPad lol
I understand. Earlier in this thread I asked the same thing and was relieved to hear it is universal.
I would be willing to bet that space hulk will come around to iPhone too after its release just like a lot if other major iPad titles.
